Commentaria in Aristotelem graeca. Edita consilio et auctoritate Academiae litterarum regiae borussicae .. : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive (original) (raw)
The commentary on the Parva naturalia (vol. v. 6) formerly ascribed to Themistius, is by Sophonias. The commentaries of Joannes Philoponus (vol. XIII-XVII) are in part based upon the lectures of Ammonius Hermeiou; the commentary on De generatione (vol. XIV, 3) is by Michael of Ephesus. The author of the paraphrasis of the Ethica Nicomachea (vol. XIX, 2) is unknown. It had previously been published as a work of Andronicus Rhodius; the name "Heliodorus Prusaeus" is an invention of Palaiokappa (cf. Berl. philol. wochenschr IX, col. 1419/20)
A supplement of both the edition of Aristotle's works by the Berlin Academy (1831-1870), and of the Commentaria, is the Supplementum Aristotelicum editum consilio et auctoritate Academiae litterarum regiae Borussicae ... Berolini, 1885-1903
