Processing Information
The Library of Congress Subject Heading "Cross-dressers" was used for this collection as variations of the term "Transvestite" (or "TV") are used throughout this collection ("Transvestite" is listed as subsumed under this subject). It's also specifically used for cataloging Miss Vera's Finishing School for Boys Who Want to Be Girls by Veronica Vera, one of the items in this collection.
The subject heading "Transgender people" has also been added to represent current terminology and understanding.
