So I was scrolling through a number of HP communities that I used to frequent when I was active in the fandom several years ago and a lot of them are dead. What are the good, active HP communities on LJ right now? Or has (what's left of) the fandom moved elsewhere?

Hi all,So I saw DH Part Deux on Friday night and then immediately went home and reread Epilogue -- my slash parody of the DH epilogue that I wrote a few days after the book was published in 2007. If I had to update the fic based on the latest movie, I would just add that – 19 years later – Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny still look early to mid-20s, except that they all have bad hair and shop for all their clothes at Walmart. Oh and Draco hit a wall and looks 50.Bloody hell!

A man was walking along a California beach and stumbled across an old lamp. He picked it up and rubbed it and out popped a genie. The genie said, "OK, OK. You released me from the lamp, blah blah blah." This is the fourth time this month and I'm getting a little sick of these wishes so you can forget about three. You only get one wish."The man sat and thought about it for awhile and said, "I've always wanted to go to Hawaii but I'm scared to fly and I get very seasick. So I was out with daylyn on Saturday night, and we went to a trendy bar to grab a drink. And this bar specializes in making rasberry mojitos and adding a stick of sugar cane in them. So obviously after drinking the mojito my first inclination was to chew on the sugar cane (because it was soaked with alcohol and it tasted really good).Anyway, there I was standing with daylyn in a corner and chewing on sugar cane when a guy comes up to me and asks:"Do you suck on them often?"daylyn immediately falls into a fit of hysterics, but I am so drunk it doesn't occur to me that I am OBVIOUSLY being hit on with a line so-worthy of a slash fanfic. I am stunned to hear that Heath Ledger died. Just last week we lost Brad Renfro. They were both in their mid-twenties with their whole lives ahead. And Heath was an amazing actor. It's so sad! I have no words for how his death upsets me.May he rest in peace.

BIZARRE HP DREAM	[2007-08-29 22:10]
Hi all,So last night I had the most BIZARRE dream. I was in a 50's cafe - something a la Johnny Rockets - and I saw a number of the customers sneaking out of the cafe and not coming back. So I followed this blonde country girl and her boyfriend out of the cafe to see where they were going, and they led me to a secluded parking lot in the back. When I got there I was quite surprised to see at least six different couples fucking in the parking lot. My eyes immediate darted to two familiar faces shagging in the center of the lot - Remus and Draco! Now bear in mind that I have never shipped Remus and Draco before so I was SHOCKED to see Draco bouncing up and down in Remus's lap straddling his pogo-stick like a veteran gay porn star.I distinctly recall thinking -- is that a SHIP?And that's when I woke up. I really despise LJ right now. I can't believe that they are banning even more innocent LJ users under the guise of protecting the "new and improved" TOS. LJ is going corporate and everyone knows it. So before I get banned for expressing my free speech on my personal LJ (which I am sure is also a violation of the new TOS), keep in mind that all of my works are on Skyehawke and/or Fanfiction.net. I also have a Greatest Journal account (Arrmaitee), but I am not sure that I plan to use it at this point. Pls let me know where I can find you all if we all start dropping like flies. So I finished reading DH. Finally! I actually avoided the fandom for over a month to avoid getting nailed by spoilers the way that I did when I stumbled upon a "In book 6, Dumbledore dies" icon a few days before book 6 came out. So what did you all think? I loved it!
