Art Thinking ABC is an interactive installation by the Ars Electronica Futurelab that has the goal of introducing Art Thinking to festival visitors who are for the first time in touch with the methodology. It covers what Art Thinking is, why it is essential, and how it can be practiced.

In general, Art Thinking addresses 21st century challenges by promoting diverse perspectives and envisioning multiple futures. It teaches visitors to view issues holistically, fostering critical thinking and creative questioning. The installation encourages creating a personal compass for navigating future possibilities.

The installation invites visitors to engage with the basic vocabulary of Art Thinking and with projects developed under its framework by the Ars Electronica Futurelab. As a next step the Art Thinking tour kit serves as a tool to connect concepts of the Art Thinking ABC with festival experiences, offering a foundation for innovative thinking.
