I decided to create this community to post my wallpapers publicly. They still will be first shown on my own LJ but as I've gone friends only a few years ago, it's become difficult to share the fanart I enjoy doing. I thought of creating a site but I have too little free time to get into it right now so this community seems like the next best thing.

You'll find that my main inspirations have been for a long time Ewan McGregor, Christian Bale and their respective movies, and the TV show Stargate, especially through my favourite character, Daniel Jackson, and his actor, Michael Shanks. Next come Marion Cotillard. And now, in 2012, my more than three-year-long obsession, Supernatural, and most of all its gorgeous actors Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. Also, I'm French so there's of course a small but significant amount of wallpapers showing French movies and artists.

I'm certainly not a perfect artist but I like to think that I've improved with time and made some nice stuff. I hate some of the walls I've made but I'm going to post even those ones as I know some people who always appreciate especially the ones I dislike ;) You can of course use the tags to browse and find only what you wish to see on this comm but I didn't create one for each and every actor or TV show. I've tried to link each post to other related ones to help in your search. Or you can use the table below the cut to access directly the walls related to actors and movies in which you're interested. I'm also working on another table linking to movies/TVshows/characters but it's not done yet.

So I hope you'll enjoy some of the fanart. Feedback is of course very welcome. Just like fic, it takes time and effort to create fanart of the kind you'll find here, so getting a nice comment for sharing often makes my day. I'll be glad if you find something for your personal use but please remember that they're not to be uploaded anywhere else. Thanks !

Soon after, Steve began wondering when convincing the short cop from New Jersey to move to Hawaii morphed into seducing Danny Williams for his own benefit. Why this particular cruise, through the same idyllic scenery and mass entertainment as usual, quickly became the most important of Steve's life.

And yet he still had to work, make sure people had fun, thanks in part to the special guest recruited for this trip, new dance wonder Eddie Diaz. His time on board the ship was going to change Eddie's life in a major way, as well as the ones of his son and his best friend.

This fic takes place months later, after Danny and Steve have already lived together for a while, and concludes the series. The previous fic was supposed to be the last one, but then I had an idea, more than two years after the first one, for this new scenario, and it appears, considering the word count, that the boys still had a lot to say ! So you never know, I might get inspired someday to add to it, but right now I feel it's complete as Steve and Danny are now together for the long haul and happy as can be.

This was also written to fill the exhibitionism/exposure square of my seasonofkink bingo card, though the challenge is long gone by the time I finally post.

In case you're wondering, the shop the guys visit is completely invented. But you can listen for real to Janis Joplin and her glorious voice and soul singing Ball and Chain here. There's no spoiler for season 10 at all, the only recent canon events I allude to take place in season 8 and 9 (big spoiler for that one at the very end of the story).

Obviously happens before episode 910 "Pio ke kukui, po'ele ka hale" "When the Light Goes Out, the House is Dark" – those who've seen it will understand why, but there's no actual spoiler for the episode.

In the past, and notably in the Middle-Age, cemeteries were part of the cities and daily lives more than nowadays, and prostitutes abounded there to attract their customers. Prostitution was tolerated, even by church, for different reasons, one of them being that it was supposed to lessen the number of rapes committed by those poor frustrated males. Another was that the clergymen helped themselves to the women's meager profits. The cemetery mentioned here looks like old ones in New Orleans (example) or in Europe, rather than the kind where we see Steve visiting his father in the show.

Now for the warning : this part is harsher and kinkier than the previous stories, because Steve's subconscious is trying to tell him something he's not listening to ! To show his difference with Steve, I have the marquis speaking French but the translation is given directly below each sentence, to mimic the way Steve understands his every word, so that you can just ignore the French lines if you find them annoying. Inspector Javert is of course a reference to another cultural icon, Victor Hugo's Les Misérables, and the epitome of inflexible, unforgiving justice and morality, just like the Marquis de Sade embodies sexual depravation and moral transgression. See the end notes for a few historical and spoilery details.

I'm aware Steve's references in some of his dreams might seem bizarrely very French-oriented, due to the fact that I am – French, I mean – and thus they are, of course, my references. But they didn't seem farfetched in this context, and I mostly used widely-known topics that any educated American guy could have heard/read about. Not to mention that, even though I don't remember if show ever says that Steve likes history (anyone knows ?), that's my headcanon anyway. And then I tried each time to find a good reason, sometimes just a significant detail upon which Steve's subconscious could latch to explain why he would go there. Anyway, I hope it won't lessen your enjoyment of these fics.

Guincher (pronunciation here) is an old French verb meaning to dance. It's rarely used nowadays except in jest or when talking about particular times, like when people used to go "guincher" on non-work summer days in "guinguettes", on the rivers around Paris, the Seine or the Marne, especially at the beginning of the 20th century. So the title means "Do you want to dance with me ?" and is of course a play on the famous song "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir ?" Last word in our French lesson of the day, mamie means grandma.

This part was inspired by a documentary about the invention of today's restaurant and what came before ; the passage about guinguettes had me imagining the boys and girls of Five-0 wearing straw boaters and long dresses… Also, Véronique was Harry Langford's girlfriend in episode 803 Kāu pahi, ko’u kua. Kāu pū, ko’u po’o – Your Knife, My Back. My Gun, Your Head. As far as I remember, we just know she and Harry met in Monte Carlo so I decided she was French and made up a past for her as I saw fit for my story. The fic was begun before we saw Harry again, so ignore whatever else we learned about him in later episodes.

Also, this is the first part of a series called Steve in Dreamland in which Steve comes to terms with being attracted to other men, and particularly his best friend, who he might be more than a little bit in love with, through a string of weird dreams. These are sex dreams, which means there will be kinks, a lot of kinks, sometimes hard ones, so steer clear if you like it only down-to-earth and fully-clothed.

I began this story when Kono and Chin were still around, but as it turned into a series and seasons came and went, I decided to use only Tani and Junior for present scenes and set it all in the latest Five-0 seasons. It's so easy to imagine the lovely Tani setting this whole thing in motion with her irreverent comments. But rest assured that Kono and Chin will appear too in dreamland. They will forever be parts of Steve's ohana.
