US Supreme Court turns away push to act against Asian carp

Asian Carp. This is an extensive topic, which i'm sure you've heard about. I thought the Michigan (etc.) law suit was thrown out, then I hear a hearing is to be made... Anyway, a lot of people want Illinois to close it's locks, keeping the Asian Carp from passing from the Chicago River, (from the Mississippi), into the Great Lakes, where it is CERTAIN to reek havoc on native species, and DESTROY much of the fishing (etc.) economies of many states. So far, the poisoning methods have failed to check the fish from moving up the Chicago and towards Lake Michigan. Because ASIAN CARP DNA has been found PAST the point where the fish were poisoned. In fact,the fish MAY EVEN have REACHED Lake Michigan by now.
