In addition, the interaction between the upper and lower limbs has yet to be considered. Therefore, this study investigates the impact of the main and combination of shoulder, trunk and leg support postures in a horizontal drilling task on the rating of perceived exertion (RPE). A total of 10 male participants with a mean age of 23.3 ±0.7 were selected for the experiment. The general linear model (ANOVA) was used to analyse the data. Results show that shoulder flexion, trunk bending forward and leg support have significant effects on RPE (P < 0.01). Moreover, leg support reduces the discomfort for all postures with an approximate value of 1 on the Borg’s scale. The difference in RPE at a shoulder flexion angle of 45°– 90° was likewise determined to be twice of 0°–45° for all coordinated p...

Five Libyan companies participated in the validation process, and followed the implementation process for a period of six months. Self-assessment had been designed based on literature reviews and author previous researches. Pre-implementation leadership values obtained in this study less than 50% of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award scores (MBNQA), these scores reflect the need to concentrate on both senior leadership and governance and societal responsibilities to improve the leadership criterion. The leadership values obtained six months afterimplementation ranges from 33 to 58%. Four companies have an effective systematic approach which is responsive to the basic requirements of the leadership item, and their position in leadership item is equivalent to companies who are in the early stages of deployment. The validation procedures are based on the findings from literature review, questionnaire survey, and face-to-face interviews. These sources of information were the base for development of the QMS framework, implementation flow chart, and self-assessment questions. By using the self-assessment questions, Libyan companies can evaluate their QMS status, and they can decide which part of the implementation flowchart they start with. The validation of the framework is conducted with foreign manufacturing companies and Libyan quality experts. Through discussions and rework of the designed body of the quality culture framework, the implementation flowchart and the self-assessment, the involved experts agreed to start the implantation of the framework proposed. The final validation processes of the framework will be conducted through six months implementation ...

When it applies to the language in a movie, it may furnish new effects or fresh insights into an idea or a subject. This study explored the figure of speech representing religious education values in Moustafa Akkad's The Message movie. As qualitative descriptive research, the source of data was the script of the movie analyzed from the sociolinguistic point of view. The result shows that the film used the figurative language to express religious education values through irony, simile, personification, paradox, hyperbole, oxymoron, metaphor, repetitive, metonymy, antithesis, onomatopoeia, and symbol. Also, Moustafa Akkad presented several religious values applicable to teaching English for Islamic Studies.

In order to achieve the objectives, an extensive literature review has been carried out, followed by a survey questionnaire conducted in major Libyan manufacturing industries (Oil and Gas Sector and Industrial Sector). SPSS software was used to perform the analysis. We found that the Libyan manufacturing culture comprises high power distance, slightly high uncertainty avoidance, long-term orientation and a masculine society. We also found that the society is average in terms of its individualistic/collectivistic dimension and that organizations are operating within the hierarchy culture quadrant. The findings were compared with other studies and suggestions were formulated to improve Libyan companies in the future.
