Things are going very well. Kei has a new bass on layaway so she can pay it off little by little. We're looking into getting a card at Guitar Center so we can get the rest of our basic equiptment we need and pay it off slowly over the next year. Because, as we talked about, we're going to be playing at clubs in about a year; that is our goal. if we plan to play at clubs a year from now, we have a year to get our skills up, which means we need all our equiptment ready so we can spend the next year praticing as opposed to just sitting around waititng to pratice to the full extent that we need to. Meanwhile, I'm praticing on anything I can hit my sticks on: the floor, trees, poles, pillows, my knees, Kei....

And since I do in fact have my guitar and i'm borrowing Tiara's amp, I'm using that to pratice guitar. I'm getting really good at it. It's not so much fr the band, tho I do plan on playing guitar occationally for it, but it's more of for my own personal skills. You know, for the day I compose my own music and do a solo project, or when I can prerecord my drums and get up on stage on my guitar occationally for the hell of it like Yura-sama does (except he dances and stuff, not guitar).

So yeah, I'm all pumped about drums. The funny part is, I think that is what I was ment to do all along, I've just been running from it. ^_^() Because I'd rather be singing and running around in front, not hiding in back. In that way, I admire Yura-sama. He's one of my drum idols and my inspiration for palying drums. So is Tsukasa, Shinya and Kami. I love them for their drumming skills. I like Yura-sama for not taking things sitting down all the time, litterally. ~_^ I'm going to be able to run around on stage like an idiot, hump other member's legs, groping the fangirls and fanboys, crowd-surfing, and dancing the funky-chicken dance~ just because I can! Ha!

Dude, you're going to just LOVE comming to the concerts I'm planning!! I swear to the gods! I won't let anyone sit down for a boring minute watching numbly as we preform, it'll be non-stop fun and the crowd WILL be involved! I'm going to pull up fans and let them be part of the act! I'm sure a fanboy or fangirl wouldn't mind me chaining and riding them on stage barely clad in pleather and PVC! Or having them do mock-battles with me on stage with my soon-to-be-mad-sword skillz! Yep, my concerts will be one HELLA-va ride. And I even plan to have benefit events where I auction off tickets to spend a day with the band and the proceeds go to good causes like stopping child abuse and helping rape victims.

So yeah.... much fun to look forward to. So I'm all up and ready to pratice my ass off to get us there to give you the serviced I want to offer! Whoa.... that sounded kinda.... prev. ...... Oh, you know what I ment! So yeah! Yay for us and hopefully we will get the equiptment I need soon! I plan on getting us up in shape to meet our goal! ONE year from now! Look forward to it!

And Kei can feel accomplished that she's getting me hooked on Happy Music! XP
