Hello everyone,After some consideration, tanie_05 and I have decided it's time to close the doors on aswimcontest. Challenge participation has been dropping off for a while now and with 95% of the community not responding to our call for feedback, we've taken that as a sign that our fun times here are at an end. It was good while it lasted though!We wish you all well and continued good times watching [as]. Who knows, maybe with Boston's meltdown after the Mooninite invasion Wednesday, the fandom here at LJ will pick up again. But until that day comes, aswimcontest is now officialy CLOSED.If you have any questions about this decision, please let us know.

Hi everyone! Happy 2007 to you! This week's theme is Seeing Green. This means your icon can have envy or jealousy as a theme OR must be in green hues only OR be a combination of both. The rules:-you may submit up to two icons as long as they are from different shows-icons must be a maximum of 40k/100x100pxls-no fanart, doujinshi or cosplay photos-remember to provide the series as well as the url of your icon in your submission!Submit all icons to this screened post by Saturday, January 13 @ midnight Pacific.
