An Internet of Things (IoT) Voice Controlled Home automation system is presented in this project.... more An Internet of Things (IoT) Voice Controlled Home automation system is presented in this project. This project is useful for controlling electrical switches in households and industries using voice via a mobile phone. A microcontroller is used in this project to execute all instructions from the user. In case a user cannot reach or use an electrical switch, no need to call for help. By initiating the right voice commands, the user can use any electrical device connected to the system without any mobility. Furthermore, the system is designed in such a way that simple domicile activities are automated such automatic lightening system automatic ventilation system and an intruder detection system. Again, the system displays important status of the systems' environment such as real-time reading of surroundings temperature, current date and time and surroundings' sunlight intensity. In this system, the mobile software application connected to the internet communicates with the controller (system) via Bluetooth technology which allows the users' commands to be executed by the microcontroller.
