This is generally what we're looking for in applications.

I made the out of character community.

So, if anyone needs to get in touch with anyone else...

Announce absences, check activity, leave the game, post (related) ooc things-
this is the place to do it.

Related means it has to have something to do with anime, although not necessarily the game. Don't get too off-topic (i.e. memes or surveys) but- sharing icons, plot ideas, or general questions are welcome.

There really aren't any set

rules

for the out of character community, it's just there incase we need it.

Since the name I wanted was apparently taken, outof_au.

Mod announcements and things like chat updates will still be posted in au_mods. I hope this will be of some help.

Comments to this entry screened, but in the future posts will all be public, comments open for everyone to read (unless the poster changes that.) and updating can be done by non-members. So it's not a requirement to join the community in order to post in it. Just click the little 'post' button on the userinfo page.

Um... update.

I know my own replies have been terribly slow guys, and I apologize for that. If you ever want to end a thread because of my horrendous delay, just say so- no hard feelings.
I never know what nights I'm going to get on my cable connection, and the dial-up is not entirely LJ-friendly... It causes a few problems with keeping everything up to date.

I know that I said I'd be doing an activity check and all that, but because of my own slow pace I haven't felt that poking at anyone else would be fair. However, if your character has not done anything at all, you need to update, and soon, or I will have to remove the character from the game.

There's nothing stopping you from posting in the community, joining a thread that's already going on if it's open, or even posting a journal entry for your character.
(Journal entries for characters that can't write/type can just be the character's thoughts - I have taken that into consideration.)

Also, guys. There's nothing stopping you from communicating with each other. If you don't want to post in the community, there is the option of AIM logs. Discuss, plan, do something... and yes, as far as I know, we're still planning on having that chat. I'll speak to Deb about it this weekend.

I'm not going to mention any names, I'm pretty sure you all know who you are, but please get something posted if your character is not already doing something.

If you have any issues, feel free to comment here...

Alright, so for once Haku-mun mod is actually using Haku-chara's journal. Go figure.

So, I'm not the only person who enjoyed the last chat - right?

1. We're scheduling up a chat for toward the end of the month, but before we set it up - I'd like to know when is a better time for the rest of you before we make it OFFICIAL.

2. Speaking of OFFICIAL, would you enjoy having chats every once in awhile?

Please reply with the times you would be available for the chat coming up. As for the other, just let us know if you would be interested.

A couple of things to go over.

1.) I went through and updated a few things.

Contact list. - everyone's added.
Reserved character list. - empty.
Taken character list. - everyone's added.
Friend add/remove list. - updated, table made.
Game remove list.* - updated, table made.

Anything I haven't finished updating yet, should be finished tonight.

2.) If there's anything I'm missing that you think should be added or changed, please let me know.

3.) Deb, do you want to keep solemnsoliloquy as your contact info?

4.) I was considering making an OOC community. Someplace players can go to plan out plots, notify other members of hiatuses or make an introduction/farewell post.
Feedback on whether this seems like a good or bad idea is more than welcome.

5.) We're going to be working on an activity list soon. Characters that are inactive longer than twelve days go on this list, and inactivity will result in loss of characters.

This hasn't been in use previously because the game was still working through some kinks, and between personal issues and trouble getting online the mods have also been inactive.

6.) Lastly, a personal thing on my end.
Due to some issues I have with people contacting me over AIM that I'd much rather avoid, I do keep my screen name from coming up on people's buddylists. I'll be adding the AIM names listed in the contacts to my 'allowed' list, so if there's a specific screen name you want me to add, please let me know.

All right, guys-

I updated the taken list, the contact list and thanks to some confusion earlier I will be cross-linking those entries.

If there's anything you see that needs to be altered or changed, please inform Deb or me right away so that we can fix it.

Suggestions are more than welcome, as I'm sure things would run more smoothly with any well thought out ideas.

Addy, I included your information in the contact list, but I didn't add e-mail or personal journal because you never commented that entry, so I wasn't sure if there was anything you wanted kept private. If you could comment there with what you want listed, I'd appreciate it...

That aside, I hope everyone's contacting each other and moving AIM logs forward, since there hasn't been any activiy in the actual RP community.

Now that I can get on LJ more consistantly again, I will be back to RPing very soon. (Likely this weekend if stress and family doesn't make me too hostile to deal with.)

Questions/comments/hate-mail/the usual: Post it. Comments screened.

Edit: Okay, new order of business.
Deb... There's no way to comment entries in the community.
Now, I know I didn't shut them off, so unless LJ changed it for unexplained reasons... Maybe that's something you can fix?

We kind of need comments turned on, in order to RP if it's not an AIM log...

All right, guys. Due to the responses I got for scheduling a chat, this is the idea that I have:

Friday, November 16th.
Starting at either 11:30 pm or 12:00 midnight, Eastern Time.

Subtract an hour for Central, two for Mountain, three for Pacific.
I think everyone knows what time that is, for them.

The time of the chat will probably not be finalized -until- we are able to begin.
If there is anyone that can't make it to the chat, around that time, please notify me or Deb.

Exact time of the chat will vary, so everyone will be contacted by a mod once the room is opened, and invited in.

Any questions/comments/complaints/death-threats: comments, as usual, are screened.

It was suggested, and then agreed upon by the mods, that we have an OOC chat within the next week or (at the very most) two. Considering everyone in game seems to have some variation of AIM or AOL that seems to be the obvious solution, so that brings up the question of availability.

Considering most people are available at night, I wanted to check and see when everyone might be able to make the chat. So, if everyone could comment with the best time for them, I'd appreciate the help on trying to narrow down a specific time to schedule it.

Comments, as always in the mod journal, are screened.

Your friendly neighbourhood co-modlymod here!

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up for right now that whatever RP logs you guys have at this point in time just keep going with it.

We are INDEED offically open, and have been since August 3rd and are continually accepting applications and are always looking for more players.

At this point in time - Ed is still on hiatus, but it's not fair to you as RPers to be held back from your imagination. Ed will get here when Ed can get here. That's the just of it.

I am going through the layouts for the two communities and refurbishing them - and possibly by this weekend I will be posting an actual map of Nagoya.

So for now, that's all the news I've got. So take care everyone, and if you've any questions that need answers about any issues in this particular post, please comment and I'll do all I can to help.

All right guys, modly post... Since I'm a slacker.

Mom's friend came to spend the night.... Two months ago. Has moved into her room on a way-too-permanent basis, and because of this she's sleeping in my computer room.
I intend to have my other computer set up soon, so I'll be online even if Mr. Mooching Jackass doesn't leave sometime soon.

Anyway, so the news is: RPing will resume officially on October 1st - if anyone wants to RP with each other in th meantime, you're more than welcome to.

You all have my AIM and e-mail, but comments are screened as well.

Questions/suggestions/tomatoes?

Feel free to tell me this took way too long, and I can go fuck myself, you're no longer playing. No hard feelings on my end.
