About us

Established in 1824, the Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is Australia’s largest integrated cattle and beef producer, and is the oldest continuously operating company in Australia. Today, AACo owns and operates a strategic balance of properties, feedlots and farms comprising around 7 million hectares of land in Queensland and the Northern Territory. This equates to roughly 1% of Australia’s land mass. AACo specialises in grass fed beef, grain fed beef and Wagyu beef production.

We're incredibly proud to partner with the Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program. As a founding sponsor, it's wonderful to see how the program has grown each year. The calibre of mentees is exceptional, and we were fortunate to have a mentor, Jacqui Huntington, in the program this year as well. AACo celebrates 200 years of operation in 2024 and this significant milestone has provided an opportunity to reflect on two centuries of achievement and progress. While much has changed over that time, our commitment to people has been a consistent priority. We celebrated a major milestone in Australian agriculture last week! Twelve remarkable women graduated from the Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program (DiALP), a journey that’s both empowering and transformative. This incredible program highlights the importance of female leadership in ag and wouldn't be possible without the commitment of our 30 program partners. Each partner a public pledge each year to advance gender equality in their workplace. This is key to creating real and lasting change in the industry. Together, we’re shaping a future where women can thrive in leadership roles and contribute to a more inclusive agriculture sector.
