Dr Babak Nobari, Head of Research, Development, and Partnerships at Hone, recently visited Gippsland, conducting exploratory tests on Ryegrass pastures to build predictive models for key nutrient metrics. Using advanced NIR technology this project aims to advance nutrient insights essential for the dairy and equine industries. 🐄🐎 Accurate assessment of pasture nutrients is crucial in improving feed efficiency and supporting optimal health and nutritional performance for ruminants and equines. By refining these models, we aim to empower farmers with data-driven decisions that boost productivity and sustainability. We are grateful to our partners for supporting this pilot study in Gippsland, which will pave the way for further innovation in pasture quality solutions!

🌿 Honing out the week 11/10/24 🌿 🥼 Thanks to Caitlin Chambers and her lab team who have commissioned 26 new Hone Lab Red instruments this week. Instruments successfully passed Hone validation and are ready to ship out to growers for harvest. 🌱 NSCIC project updates - with 95 soil cores, 3 soil carbon projects and 6 HLR instruments committed to landholders all in the last week alone! Chris Kimani is leaving no stone (or soil) unturned! 🚗 Tom de Steiger was on the road this week speaking to local growers in the Riverina region to show how we can support with Hone solutions. 🎯 Announcing the official launch of our harvest campaign across social media!
