- Sustainability Speed Mentoring Sydney was what we expected and more! Relaxed, open, and fun yet fast-paced and purposeful. Thanks to the good folks at Finding Nature, Greenfluence, Altiorem, and everyone who made it along last night. We will be back with speed mentoring version 2.0 soon โ details to follow! Finding Nature events are rolling out regularly for the rest of the year in Sydneyโฆ and Melbourne. Upcoming schedule here - https://lnkd.in/gFReDkYK
Last night was a raging, loud, high octane vibe-fest! What. A. Night. The sore voice today is worth it. In December I met Mike Antonievich and mentioned in passing I thought people in sustainability, ESG and social impact in Sydney would be interested in the chance to meet and connect with like minded & hearted professionals. Not at another networking static panel fireside chat PR-fuelled conference, but in a real and honest way. How right we were! This was a big team effort; Thanks Visakhan Vythilingam, Mariana Wheatley, Emmalene Wysocki, Mike Antonievich for your efforts in the lead up and on the night. Thanks to Abby Bloom, Richard Burton, Moana Nottage and Chris Andrew for sharing your experience and wisdom to start the 'formalities' off. Thanks to the seasoned 'veteran' mentors Ann Austin, Jeff Oatman, Amanda Keogh, Chris Nunn, Cameron Tonkinwise, Ingrid Messner, Sally Hill & Guy Michael Williams. Thanks to Rohan Shah for bringing the stillness. Thank you to those who came, thank you to those who are returning event travellers and thank you to those who came along for the first time. Keen to hear how you found it! Subscribe at Humanitix to keep updated with future event & ticket sales. ๐๐ผ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ผ -

- A super enjoyable evening last Thursday at Ocean Impact Organisation's "Feeding 10 Billion" blue economy event at the Australian National Maritime Museum. Given the size of our combined territorial waters, the blue economy in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand has huge potential for creating positive environmental, economic, and social impact. It was exciting to learn about advancements and opportunities for collaboration within offshore and onshore aquaculture, wave energy, and coral restoration from Moananui, Aquacultr, Carnegie Clean Energy, Blue Carbon, University of Wollongong, and Blue Economy CRC. #blueeconomy #climateactionweek #oceanhealth
