- Big News! Weāve been blessed by the gods of government fundingā¦ almost. Over the next few months, we will be conducting a campaign to raise $25,000, and if we succeed the government will match every one of those dollary-doos. For us, this is a hugely important opportunity and it is our chance to learn about private fundraising and how to create a solid foundation for ROOKE which will allow the company to thrive into the future. This campaign will directly fund our two programs - REAP and CAT. It will mean our beloved island gets to see a lot more of us in 2024 AND it will mean we are able to support our 4 amazing emerging artists for a further 12 months, as well as welcoming 2 new emerging artists! Itās exciting stuff, and weāre looking forward to a stable, supported and joyful 2024. Never fear, all the other fun stuff is still in the works and completely separate from this funding š A big one for us is that we donāt want to bombard you with requests for donations. If youāre keen to be involved, get in touch now - not later. You can click the link in our bio to see our project pages or get in touch directly if you want to know more. Please feel free to share this post far and wide, we want to reach people who are excited about supporting the arts and our work. A huge thank you goes to the van Zetten family for kicking things off and being the first to show their support for this campaign. Big love, ROOKE. xhttps://lnkd.in/gj8rfSzd
