Yesterday, the ReachOut Youth Advocates were invited to share their lived experience and perspectives on social media and reform with the Joint Select Committee on Social Media and Australian Society. The advocates spoke alongside young people representing eSafety Commissioner, Australia’s independent regulator for online safety. One of ReachOut’s key priorities throughout this campaign has been ensuring that young people's voices are heard in the debate about social media bans. It is great to see this starting to happen 💜 Thank you to Committee Chair Sharon Claydon and Members Susan Templeman, Zoe Daniel and Zoe McKenzie for the opportunity and your engaging questions.
