Thank you AWARD - What a night!!! We were thrilled to win Creative Agency of The Year, and with our friends at The Monkeys Aotearoa and The Monkeys Melbourne – we were honoured to be awarded Agency Network of The Year. The Agency Network award recognises the combined pencils received over our three offices - along with The Monkeys Melbourne and The Monkeys Aotearoa we received a total of 39 pencils for our work for ASB Bank, TAB, Sydney Opera House, Telstra, Meat & Livestock Australia, Mountain Goat Beer, Carlton & United Breweries and the Government of Tuvalu. It was a big night for our people too with Tara Ford & Barbara Humphries winning Creative Leaders of The Year and Penny Brown for Agency Producer of The Year. Sydney Opera House ‘Play it Safe’ was also awarded The Grand Award. Shout out to our brilliant clients and production partners including Production Company of the Year Revolver and also FINCH Company, Collider, Assembly, EXIT Films & Rabbit + MassiveMusic, ARC FILM & the Editors. Congratulations Monkeys and huge thanks to AWARD for putting on another great show and end to #thiswayup festival. 🐵 🏆 GRAND PRIX!!! 'Play it safe' for Sydney Opera House has been awarded the Film Grand Prix at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity! Thank you to Tim Minchin, Kim Gehrig, Pip Smart and Michael Ritchie at Revolver x Somesuch, with ARC EDIT & Trim Editing, the wonderful team at Sydney Opera House, Joanne Been, Stephen O'Connor, Jade McKellar, our Monkeys team of Tara Ford, Scott Nowell, Barbara Humphries, Jake Ausburn, Alex Polglase, Penny Brown, Izzy Robertson, Kezia Quinn, Mark Green, Matthew Michael and Fizzy Keeble and music production and composition by Elliott Wheeler at Turning Studios and Simon Kane at MassiveMusic 👏 👏 👏 - Looking back at the week that was, on Monday Cannes kicked off with standing-room only for our first two main stage sessions of the festival.Nick Law talked about the power of creativity as the great connecter, using The Monkeys 'Play it Safe' for Sydney Opera House as an example - and David Droga joined Mira Murati, CTO of OpenAI, for a discussion on redefining the boundaries of creativity with AI as a collaborator.
