From the observation of the first printed page of newspapers and magazines available on the Inter... more From the observation of the first printed page of newspapers and magazines available on the Internet, we proceeded to the analysis of the text-image as an object of scriptural-visual communication. In order to better understand the importance of this, from the didactic point of view, we embarked on an exploratory study, qualitative in nature. The purpose of this study was to examine how the edition design of the first page of 6 daily newspapers and 2 weekly newspapers is established as an object of communication and compare the approaches made to the emerging topics on the dates the information was collected. This comparative analysis allowed us to establish the differences concerning the target audience, understand the ability of newspapers to mobilize a didactic potential and understand how important they are for the promotion of education and citizenship.
