I know that according to this community's statistics there are a few people actually watching the community. And more people than I expected subscribed seeing as it gets no activity.
If we want to see this community actually get activity and get better, we need to post stories. Even if they aren't the worst suck, it needs activity if we want to pull anyone in.
I realize it may be hard (I for one don't tend to get many sucky customers, or at least ones bad enough I remember to post about them when I get home. Plus right now i'm on vacation so I'm not getting any customers).
But if people watching actually want to see an alternative to 
customers_suck, they need to post stories in the other communities designed as an alternative (like this one or c_s_freeforall which used to get some activity but also has died down. I'm trying more to get a community like customers_suck used to be before they got all big into censorship as a way of cutting down the wank. CSFreeforall seems more a place to bitch about retail in general).

If you really want to talk to some one and stop being put on hold, stay long enough for her to get back to you rather than hanging up, calling again, not waiting very long, and hanging up again. Maybe if you had patience you already would have been helped by now. Yes, it gets busy back there and sometimes there just isn't some one available to pick up the phone right that minute (and the person who can is at the moment helping another customer).
Patience, get you some.

Not much of a suck at all, but a mild annoyance. More to get the ball rolling here, than anything.
I love most of our customers. We have a nice base of regulars - almost all of you are friendly and patient! I love working there.
But seriously, guys. I'm still getting used to the ins and outs of this place, and still getting to know familiar faces... so no, I don't know what the 'usual' is. =/ I still have trouble recognizing the older man who always has 3 ciabatta loaves put aside for him, not to mention the guy who always gets a toasted egg and bacon roll, egg still runny (though that last one's getting way easier).

Lady calls 911 because they didn't give her enough shrimp
I cannot believe they actually sent out a police officer for it too (I liked the Burger King 911 call better, the operator told the person to act like an adult and handle it herself)
Give me a cop to enforce my extra shrimp!
Oh, and for those who never heard of the Burger King call (this one is great cause the operator handled it so well): Maam, we're not going to enforce your bacon cheeseburger

So, amusing short story. Not really a suck or awful customer, but more of a cute WTF story. Excuse me if you have heard it before (every now and then it has gottne related on customer's suck. It is one of my favorite stories cause it is pretty amusing).
One of my jobs is a receptionist at a vet clinic. This happened years ago, so it's not word for word, but close.
Players:
Me: Guess
Guy: Guy calling in who is taking care of an old woman and her cat.
Me: Blab blah vet clinic, how may I help you?
Guy: Yeah, I'd like to make an appointment. My friend says her cat is crooked.
Me: Crooked?
Guy: Yeah, so we need to make an appointment.
I proceed to make appointment figuring I'll find out when she comes in (the guy is kinda gruff and I get the feeling he's not really wanting to go into detail at that moment)
Guy calls back:
Guy: Yeah, I'd like to cancel the appointment. She says the cat's head popped off.
Me: (to myself, WTF?!!!)It popped off?!
Guy: Yeah, she's got alzheimer's and the cat was sleeping with its head tucked under its body so she thought the head popped off.
We both laugh.

First post (like that's hard).
Anyways, I created this as a true rant community for those who work retail (and maybe for those that don't but consider they have customers).
Anyways, some things that I will not do that customers_suck does. Some of it I have not figured out, but these are personal pet peeves.
First, yes, you can rant about tips. I think it's ridiculous you can't. For those that don't live in the U.S., our system is different and I won't allow wank cause over where you live a tip is not mandatory. It's not here but retaurants can still consider it part of people's wages rather than paying them full wages and letting hte tip be an extra if they did extra good service (I agree, it shouldn't be like that, but it is here. Therefore, I'm going to allow tip ranting).
So, first rule, no wanking about some one complaining about not getting a tip. They probably live in the U.S.
Secondly, this is a rant community. People may not be flattering about thier customer including using description to insult them (like being fat). As long as they aren't outright saying that cause they are fat they were a sucky customer, don't wank about them including that in the description. Now, if they say I hate fat people cause they're all disgusting, wank away. I'm not going to censor them, but neither will I protect them from the flames. I'd like to keep this community as censor free as possible. But I do get sick of wank about, oooh, you mentioned he was hispanic/fat/a female/a guy/whatever. People like giving descriptions, deal).
Yes, that means you may not agree with my judgement on what should be allowable. The alternative is a community like customer's suck where you are not allowed to say anything about a description unless you can prove that it was related to the suck, or a community where you are never allowed to tell some one they are an idiot even when they are very blatantly being a racist/pig whatnot.
Oh yeah, you are allowed to do a little off topic (like adding in this customer was nice or my boss was an asshole). Just please have some suck too when you post.
You are allowed to rant/comment about that child should be slapped. Or talk about what you wish you could have done.
Zorros are allowed. I won't protect you from the wank though (basically, feel free to post about zorros. But also do so at your own risk).
That's what I have so far anyways.
