Research relevance This article presents a mathematical solution to the issue of a comparative an... more Research relevance This article presents a mathematical solution to the issue of a comparative analysis of various types of energy storage devices and determining the most efficient type of energy storage device for use on an industrial scale. The subject of the study in the article is the most important parameters of seven types of energy storages, the use of which is spreading in the world. The purpose of the work is to obtain an answer to the following question: which of the ubiquitous different types of energy storages is most likely to be the most efficient for the future industrial energy supply? The following tasks are solved in the article: 1) generalization of the collected data; 2) analysis (evaluation) of data using mathematical methods of data analysis. The following research methods are used: comparison, abstraction, axiomatic, analysis, synthesis, formalization and induction. The following results were obtained: among the analyzed energy storages, the best result was shown by a mechanical potential (gravitational) energy storage. Conclusions: If it is planned to use energy storages on an industrial scale in various fields, it should be recognized as expedient to give preference to gravitational devices. Th... more The detection method of moving unobserved ground military heavy trucks is considered in paper. The 3D coordinates detection set and the seismic location method are used in our study. The computational algorithm of determination of the bearing angle and distance to unobserved ground target are presented, the computational uncertainties are estimated. The triangular form of 3D detectors in one seismic location cell is offered. It allows minimizing distance and angle uncertainties in target direction. To improve the detection effectiveness, the optimal geometry disposition of 3D detectors in seismic location cells is determined. The offered method is effective in case of terrain relief where seismic-acoustic signal is propagated by approximately straight line. Therefore, this method can be applied only to homogenous medium, for example, to mountainous, solid rocky soil.

When performing reconnaissance missions, a UAV system primarily conducts surveillance of the target area, locates stationary or moving enemy targets, determines their coordinates or transmits their images directly to the command post. Directing artillery fire as well as guiding missiles or carrying out target designation (illumination of targets) for high-precision weapons, automatic determination of target coordinates and their prompt transmission to the appropriate ground stations is essential. This article provides a mathematical solution to the issue of determining the motion parameters of a target spotted during surveillance of an area by a reconnaissance drone (UAV). The subject of the study in the article is UAVrocket-artillery systems. The purpose of the work is to develop a mathematical model for determining the parameters of the target's movement using a UAV. The following tasks are solved in the article: to develop target positioning diagram; to develop a mathematical model for determining the parameters of the target's movement. The methods used in the article are the methods of mathematical modelling. The following results were obtained: а target positioning scheme has been compiled to determine the coordinates and movement parameters; a mathematical dependence has been developed to determine the coordinates of a fixed target; a mathematical model has been developed to determine the parameters of the target's movement. Conclusions: by calculating the current coordinates of a moving target using the method proposed in this paper, it is possible to determine the coordinates of the target and parameters of the target's movement, including the direction of movement and the trajectory.

With aim of orthophotomap making of the terrain and identification of terrain supervision there has been constructed 3D model for choosen mountainous terrain of Azerbaijan Republic using GIS technology. Based on this model there has been obtained a terrain profile and carried out mapping. Using ArcGis software there has been investigated possibility remain control on obserbvable and unobservable parties of terrain on supervision line from supervision point to target point.

So, in this cause the application of usual maps isn’t effective. Only the modern automated control systems can provide fast changing information documenting. The observation condition is one of the terrain features for providing information about enemy troops position and facilities. This feature helps to detemine the distance of sight between any observation points, the invisibility factors of terrain. It is depended on nature of relief plant cover, human settlements and other objects, also meteorological conditions, influencing on the visibility. With aim of orthophotomap making of the terrain and identification of terrain supervision there has been constructed 3D model for choosen mountainous terrain of Azerbaijan Republic using GIS technology. Based on this model there has been obtained a terrain profile and carried out mapping. Using ArcGis software there has been investigated possibility remain control on obserbvable and unobservable parties of terrain on supervision line from supervision point to target point.

The development and widespread use of information technology in all areas, including the military... more The development and widespread use of information technology in all areas, including the military, requires increased attention to cybersecurity when planning military security. In the Military Doctrine of the Republic of Azerbaijan, one of the tasks of the Armed Forces and other armed formations only in peacetime is to ensure information security. However, it should be borne in mind that information security from the point of view of cybersecurity exists not only in peacetime, but also in all three security conditions defined in the Military Doctrine of Azerbaijan Republic, that is, “peacetime”, “real threat” and “war (armed conflict ) ". It can be concluded that in the Military Doctrine of the Republic of Azerbaijan there is a need to consider the adoption of the concepts of cyberspace and cybersecurity from the point of view of information security. There is no doubt that Armenia will not be able to restore its Armed Forces for a long time after the shameful defeat in the Second Karabakh War. However, Armenia will continue to strive for asymmetric warfare and may launch cyberattacks against Azerbaijan. The dynamic development of Azerbaijan in terms of technology and infrastructure creates favorable conditions for cyber attacks. Moreover, Azerbaijan may be subject to cyber attacks not only from the Republic of Armenia, but also in the interests of other state and non-governmental organizations.

The development multiservice communication networks, subject to an intensive growth in the volume... more The development multiservice communication networks, subject to an intensive growth in the volume transmitted multimedia traffic, requires the creation efficient optical telecommunication systems based on local and transport fiber-optic communication lines (FOCL) using spectral separation of communication channels. Based on the research, it was established that the efficiency optical telecommunications systems substantially depends on the transmission characteristics fiber optic lines using WDM & DWDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing & Dense WDM) technology. The FOCL consists of receiving and transmitting optical modules (ROM and TOM), and fiber optic cables (FOC). FOCL, due to the use spectral technologies and optical devices when transmitting optical signals, a powerful level in the communication channel (CC) and a small effective area of the FOC occur, which cause non-linear effects in the system.

At present, the development multiservice networks and communication systems, under the condition ... more At present, the development multiservice networks and communication systems, under the condition of an intensive growth in the volume transmitted multimedia traffic, requires the creation of efficient and noise-resistant transport fiber-optic communication lines (FOCL) using a terminal transmitting and receiving optoelectronic module. Based on the study, it was established [1, 2] that the quality of functioning optical telecommunication systems significantly depends on fiber-optic transmission systems (FOTS), optical facilities and fiber-optic communication lines based on WDM/DWDM and HDWDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing/ Dense WDM&High Dense WDM) technologies for transmission of any kind messages over almost any distance at the highest speeds. However, FOCL using spectral channel division systems for multiplexing optical fibers is one of the problems in the development next-generation multi-service networks NGN (Next Generation Network).
Thus, the study methods for improving the efficiency and noise immunity optical telecommunication networks using optical technology and the analysis of the information efficiency FOCL, which ensure the quality of service QoS (Quality of Service) for the transmission optical traffic, which is the most relevant.

They enabled commanders to impact on the development of the battle scenarios by efficient maneuver and firepower in a short of period of time. Such situation lasted until the beginning of the XXI century in fact. However, the rapid development of technology opened the new era for anti-tank means. In order to fight effectively against tanks modern anti-tank missile “Javelin” and Israel made “Spike” can be shown an example of such weapon systems. For the first time “Javelin” was
used in the first and second Gulf Wars and evaluated positively. It was used in the fighting against tanks and armed vehicles of Iraqi Army and in the destruction of fire points and shelters strengthened by tandem warhead missiles.

The boost phase begins with the launch of the rocket and ends when propulsion engines push it off the Earth. The midcourse phase begins with the flight of the missile on a ballistic trajectory and continues until its warhead separates from the carrier and re-enters the atmosphere.
The terminal phase begins with the re-enter of its warhead the atmosphere and ends with its strike or explosion. The phases of ballistic missiles flight are taken into account when building ballistic missile defense systems. In addition to the three main phases of ballistic missiles discussed above, there is a concept of "post-boost phase" for ballistic missile defense systems

navigation systems, which is the most important stage for all types of missions.
Despite its complexity, air navigation systems have been developed and brought to an autonomous mode today. With the help of both external navigation tools and onboard systems, it allows us to control any UAV with high accuracy at a distance of hundreds of kilometers.
When the pilot-operator prepares the UAV for flight, they first check that the elements of their navigation system are working and constantly monitor them through the monitor before and during the flight.
Navigation systems must be stable and accurate for all phases of flight. At the same time, they should also allow obtaining the distance to the destination and the exact coordinates of the current targets. As a result of research, the use of UAVs with stable navigation systems is more effective in recent wars. It also allows commanders to make the right decisions and keep the battlefield under stable surveillance, leading to the immediate destruction of important enemy targets. If UAVs transmit completely wrong coordinates during REW application, it leads to loss of control and
