В Аризоне дети жили в совершенно типичных и тепличных условиях. дом - двор - дом - на машине в дом друзей итд.
с переездом в прибрежный Нью Джерси я узнала о другой жизни - где дети сами ходят к друзьям, в школу в кафе. да и просто как мы в детстве шатаются по улицам.
я с радостью приняла этот стиль, ибо в моих глазах это и есть вкус детства - свобода. летом дети ходят на речку за крабами, ходят к друзьям, а где не дойдут там на великах.
конечно я переживаю и держу постоянно связь, но мне кажется ради своего спокойствия я не должна лишать их детства.

I hate, hate hate that for some reason I am the biggest loser ever who is just to lazy to figure out how to use my macbook...as soon as I encounter an obstacle or difference, I simply back off and pretend it did not happen, instead of pursuing and learning ;-) That is basically my explanation for the english as my favorite translit.ru is somehow not supported, only some "classic" version which I do not like.
We've been sick. All of us. Sick. Sick. Sick. I was the one who brought it home and shared with everyone, and I am the one who got over it pretty quick...where the others are still enjoying my gifts.
On Wednesday we received a letter from Catalina Foothills School District (which is the best school district in our city) that Daniel has been accepted into their Early Five program (which a program for kids whos birthday falls between September 1st and December 1st) I am still in shock...I was not counting on this....and now, although I am happy I am fighting a sad feeling of leaving his current school. The pluses are endless: 1. it is a good school, perhaps better than his prior because this district has a LOT of money and they put it inside the schools. 2. It is FREEEEEEEE!!!!! 3. He will start kindergarten instead of being in pre-school 1 more year 4. It is actually closer to our house ;-) Yesterday I went to sign him up for 2 sessions of camp in that school - so that he can ease in into a new environment ;-)
Timoshka...has 10 teeth now, which he is not shy about using . We had our 1 year check up and I got a lot of kaka for wanting to wait on his shots (since he is still getting over this virus)....and had to sign a paper stating that I understand and bluh bluh bluh...and yes...there is a measles outbreak in Tucson - 9 cases already. Of course by the time I got home I had a huge headache...and was wondering whether I made the right decision - although in my heart I did feel it was correct...but knowing the decease is out there...right now...is not very comforting. So, I guess we'll come back in a couple of weeks or so...and get the shots.
Other than that....not too many news...we bought laminate for the downstairs (living room) and now it is piled in that room...waiting until... ?????
We've been working on our backyard...planting and restoring... need to get some estimates for concrete....and rock... Also need 2 lemon trees....but everywhere we go...they only have oranges or grapefruit!!! Where are the lemons ????
I am tired, sleepy...and grumpy... the kids got up way to early today...

Well...its getting close... he's been practicing all day :-) Walking 4+ steps - no support. If a walk behind him - he walks until he realizes that I am not holding him :-)))
Looooooks like pretty soon we'll have an official walker :-)

My husband is going to be an uncle and I will be an aunt and Daniel will have a cousin :-))))) HOOOOOOOOOOOOOW EXCITING!!!!
