Leon Smith, Jr. (b. May 30, 1937) is a former Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 24A from 1998 to 2012.
Smith has earned his Bachelor's degree from Parsons College in 1957 and later earned his Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State University in 1960 along with his Juris Doctorate degree from Washburn University in 1966.
In addition to being a legislator, Smith is an attorney. Before becoming an representative, Smith was the Mayor of Twin Falls.

Smith won re-election to District Seat 24A in 2010 with no opposition. He defeated Rusty E. Satterwhite (1,311 votes) and Mark Goodman (997 votes) in the Republican primary on May 25th. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[1]
