poverty alleviation programme in India that provides 100 days assured employment every
year to every rural household. Unemployment increases poverty. This research paper
discussed the status of poverty in Vaijapur Tehsil and Aurangabad District. It further
analysed the impact of MGNREGS on poverty in Vaijapur tehsil. The hypotheses regarding
the significant difference in the income level and expenditure level of the households before
and after joining MGNREGS and also the significant association between the participation in
MGNREGS and reduction in the level of poverty among the sample households were also
tested.

Cross-sectional research design is used in the present study. The researcher included 274 university teachers in the sample by using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data collected are analysed using appropriate statistical techniques such as Arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, T-Test and One Way ANOVA. The results of the study found that majority of the university teachers have moderate level of job satisfaction.

Today these groups known as Self help groups have become the vehicle of change for the poor and marginalized. Self-help group is a method of organizing the poor people and to solve their individual problem. The SHG method is used by the government, NGOs and others worldwide. The poor collect their savings and save it in banks. In return they receive easy access to loans with a small rate of interest to start their micro unit enterprise. In this paper an attempt is made to study the agency wise progress of SHGs in India in terms of savings of SHGs with banks, bank loans disbursed to SHGs, bank loans outstanding to SHGs and bank loans provided to MFIs from 2009 to 2011.

Policymakers, educators, and community leaders must collaborate to implement initiatives tailored to the unique needs of rural populations, including improving access to technology, enhancing digital literacy programs, and fostering a culture of cyber security consciousness. By addressing these disparities, we can strive towards a more inclusive and resilient digital society where all individuals, regardless of their geographic location, are empowered to navigate the digital landscape securely. This research paper delves into the awareness and attitudes of consumers regarding cyber security in both rural and urban settings. With the increasing prevalence of online activities, particularly e-commerce, understanding the level of awareness and concerns about cyber security is crucial. development of irrigation. India is not only facing the problem of development in water resources, but also their management
in a sustainable manner. The need of the present day is to increase water efficiency in agriculture and to bring more land
under irrigation, reduce the per acre cost of irrigation, and increase the output per acre inch of water. It can be achieved by
modern irrigation methods like micro irrigation such as drip and sprinkler. The study has found that, the coverage area under
drip irrigation method was highest as compared to sprinkler irrigation in Marathwada region as well as Aurangabad district.
The study also found that the cropped area under cotton crop was highest and is followed by ginger, onion, maize, sweet
lime (Mosambi), orange in Aurangabad district. In Marathwada region, the coverage area under micro irrigation is highest
in Jalna district out of it coverage area under drip irrigation is highest as compared to the sprinkler irrigation in 2018-19.
