Bandgasm n. the feeling of extreme pleasure, excitement or happiness caused directly by a band related event. "I had a bandgasm at [marching band] state finals while watching Jenison."

The "Rules"
1. Join! We don't care who you are, how old you are, or even if you actually play an instrument or not. If something about band/orchestra music gets you excited, then this is the place for you!
2. please fill out the "application" so we can get to know you. We want this community to be a family of sorts, so the more we know the more we are willing to share! If you would be so kind as to post it behind an LJ-CUT [need help using an lj-cut?] and bold the questions, that would be great. If you don't know how to, it's no problem. This is not a rating community, so no one should yell at you for it. But if you know how, that would be great!
Also, please put your name in quotation marks as the subject. This way, we know your name as well as know that it is your "application." Plus, we like "marks". ^_^
3. Be nice to people. It's safe to say that every band student does not like every other band student, but this isn't the place to let people know that.
4. Feel free to post pictures, stories or just let us get to know you. Most important, though, is to have fun!
5. If you are from Michigan, you should also be in micompbands. Like how I added that as a rule? I do. :)
