The Regular Season in Serie A just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Brescia smashed Openjobmetis Varese at home
118-94. Brescia dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Openjobmetis Varese's 44. They outrebounded Varese 40-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Brescia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-1989) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and the former international Amedeo Della Valle (192-1993, college: Ohio St., agency: SLN) chipped in 24 points. At the losing side the former international point guard Nicolo Mannion (190-2001, college: Arizona) responded with 31 points and 5 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Openjobmetis Varese will play next round against strong Tortona trying to get back on the winning streak. Brescia will try to continue on its current victory against Scafati on the road.
