Indian as well as global agriculture will face several challenges over the coming decades because... more Indian as well as global agriculture will face several challenges over the coming decades because it must produce more food to feed affluent and growing populations. Improving agricultural productivity while conserving and enhancing natural resources is also another problem in Indian agriculture. The solution of aforesaid problem in changing scenario is sustainability in agriculture production. In India, rural economy suffers from poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, limited diversification of farming and degradation of natural resources such water, land and forest. Livelihood diversification is essential for poverty reduction, food security, rural livelihood security and improved income for rural farming community. This study paper mainly focused on sustainable agriculture, its roles in rural livelihood security, and major issues in sustainable agriculture, finally it discussed the government policies and institutions for securing the rural livelihood. The purpose of this paper is to explore how sustainable agriculture policies can better serve the goal of poverty reduction as well as rural livelihood security. The efforts to stimulate and support to the sustainable agricultural growth are essential for the rural livelihood security and rural development in India.
Agriclinics and agribusiness centres scheme is a subsidy based credit linked scheme for setting u... more Agriclinics and agribusiness centres scheme is a subsidy based credit linked scheme for setting up agriventure by agricultural graduates launched by government of India towards strengthen technology transfer, public extension system and employment generation in rural areas. The study paper focused on the origin, objective, and progress of Agriclinics and Agribusiness centres scheme in India after completion of more than one decade time from its inception. It is an attempt to assess the performance of Agriclinics and agribusiness centres scheme on the basis of states wise progress, training institutes wise progress and project wise progress. The present study is based on the secondary data collected from various journals, research articles and websites. In the analysis of data, it was found that southern states (Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka) have good and encouraging progress of ACABCs scheme comparison then north eastern states which have poor performance in the establishment of agriventure and other aspects. The government need to special focus on the north eastern states of the country to meet the objectives of the agriclinics and agribusiness centres scheme.
Agribusiness management education is a discipline of blend of economic, agriculture, business (co... more Agribusiness management education is a discipline of blend of economic, agriculture, business (commerce) and management principles. Agribusiness management field is of very recent origin and gaining rapid popularity among students as carrier choice. The agribusiness program is planned to develop management workforce to cater agricultural Industry which serves as a good option for the students willing to perform in corporate sector. Agribusiness management education has great opportunities of employment for agrigraduates in private, governmental and cooperative sector. Agribusiness students can get jobs for various posts such as sales executives, credit officers, agri experts, warehousing managers, financing officers, food managers and logistic managers in national and Multinational Corporation. Agribusiness professionals have bright future in academic field due to new emerging discipline and lack of agribusiness faculty in the country. Agribusiness sector also helps in fighting against the Poverty, Hunger, Malnutrition and unemployment situations in the economy. This review paper explores the potential opportunities in agribusiness management education which helps in employment generation and entrepreneurship development. Thus, Agribusiness management sector will change more in the next decade than it did in the last century.

number of rural youth are migrating to urban areas from villages in search of
better employment as well as better life. They are migrating towards cities due
to limited resources, weak infrastructure, and unemployment in rural areas.
Thus, the number of young people in rural areas is falling and the exodus of rural
youth means fewer small-scale farmers for today and tomorrow. Agribusiness
may prove important tool to stop the exodus of rural youth from rural to urban
areas. Agribusiness provides the various employment opportunities in the areas
of agricultural inputs, crop production, agro chemicals, fruit and vegetable
cultivation, agricultural marketing and processing of agricultural produce.
Agribusiness helps in remunerative farming which increases the level of income,
employment and living standard of people in rural India. The present paper will
discuss the role and importance of agribusiness in attracting and retaining rural
youth in farming.

The study focuses on economic analysis of garlic production in the Baran District of Rajasthan. T... more The study focuses on economic analysis of garlic production in the Baran District of Rajasthan. The study is carried out to determine break even analysis and constraints of garlic production in the study area. Break even analysis is carried out to arrive at that minimum level at which optimum conditions of cost and returns is equated that is no profit no loss point. In this study selected small, medium and large farmers will not be at loss even if their actual yield of garlic is decline by 56.22, 54.27 and 54.18 quintals per hectare respectively and selected small, medium and large farmers will not be at loss even if their actual price of garlic is decline by 986.96, 1005.55 and 1014.77 /quintals respectively. Break even yield and price were increased with increased size of holding of farmers. The most serious constraints as perceived by the farmers in garlic production were the high price of garlic seed at time of sowing, high cost of garlic cultivation, Unfavourable product price and High cost of irrigation etc.

Agripreneurship have the potential to contribute to a range of social and economic development such as employment generation, income generation, poverty reduction and improvements in nutrition, health and overall food security in the national economy. Agripreneurship has potential to generate growth, diversifying income, providing widespread employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in rural areas. This paper mainly focused on basic concepts of agripreneurship, entrepreneurship skills, and needs of agripreneurship development in India along with major reason for promoting agripreneurship development in country.

This research article focused on the traditional marriage customs in kayad village and discusses various types of marriages, attitudes, perception about marriage in Rajasthan. Data were collected by personal interview and group discussions from each family of both Hindu and Muslims cast residing in the village and have different marriage rules, regulation and customs on the basis of their religion. In the study, observed a change in the stereotype thoughts of people that they prefer education instead of proposing early marriage for girls and now priorities of both bridegrooms and brides are getting shared and people are favour for intellectual and emotional relationships rather than lifetime compromises of marriage in kayad village.
