Hi! I just got accepted to the community, so I thought I'd do the whole "newbie intro" thing. However, most of the questions don't seem to apply. You see, I don't have a favourite erotica writer, book or any tips on writing great erotica. I've been largely unsuccessful in writing erotica myself because my characters are all, like me, really shy, and nothing ends up happening! (Thankfully, I've managed to get past it enough in real life -- it's just writing about it that stymies me.) And I've never really found any books or published authors of erotica that appealed to me. So I'm here both to get some suggestions and some tips. :) However, to have this not be a total bust, I'll link to a couple of stories that I found on USENET that I really liked. When will that silly cat learn that he is to big to jump from the barstools onto the actual bar...Pulling the covers back over my head I turned around on my side, nestling my head back into the pillow.Drifting back into sleep slowly I felt the soft thud as Balthazar jumped onto the feet of my bed. Stupid cat always does this, just when I want to get back into my sweet slumber he jumps onto the bed and either wants to sleep where I am or starts playing with my toes.
