It is an important crop in West Bengal. In potato production, West Bengal ranks second, only after Uttar Pradesh. Since nanotechnology is becoming recognized as one of the most promising strategies for increasing agricultural output in recent years, it has become vital to apply a variety of techniques in agriculture, including this one. Because potatoes are a heavy feeder crop, they require substantial amounts of fertilizer for growth, development, and production (Nityamanjari, 2018). Thus, nutrient management of Potato is very much essential for soil and environmental health without compromising the yield of the crop. Potato crop requires 180-240 kg N/ha fertilizers to produce a tuber yield of 35-45 t/ha. The use efficiency of nitrogen in potato is only 40-50% and the remaining N is lost in the environment (Trehan and Singh, 2013). Thus, any alternative way to mitigate the loss and increase the use efficiency of the fertilizer is very important in terms of the sustainability of agriculture. Nano urea, which has been authorized and listed in the fertilizer control order (FCO), was introduced by IFFCO in India. They have also concluded its advantages over the traditional techniques after conducting a thorough investigation and trials. Despite many efforts, the N use efficiency (NUE) in agriculture remains in a range of less than 50 per cent.

Nano technology is gaining popularity for its e ciency over various applied eld of science. In agriculture the nano materials have a huge impact on e ciency of fertilizer pesticides etc. As it requires in very less quantity and has a negligible residual effect the environment is safe with the innovation of Nano fertilizer. Keeping this view into account an experimental Trial at farmer's eld was carried out at Berui village in Hooghly District of West Bengal during the winter (rabi) season of 2019-20 under the supervision of Berui Cooperative, KVK-Hooghly, BCKV and IFFCO with nano-Urea, nano-Zn and nano-Cu using RBD design with 10 treatments and 3 replications. Experimental results revealed that highest tuber yield was obtained in T-7 (50% N+100% P & K+ 2 spray of nano-Urea), and that was followed by T-10 (50% N + 100% P & K + 50% Zn + 1 spray each of Nano-Urea, Zn and Cu) and T-8 (100% N-P-K + 50% Zn + 2 spray of Nano-Zn). The performance of nano fertilizers, Nano-Urea, was quite promising and economically viable as compared to 100% recommended dose with commercial fertilizers (RDF).

To maintain the proper and timely supply of the spawns to the fisheries industries the hatcheries should perform their activities over the year. A study in the West Bengal state of India shows that a substantial economic return can be obtained from a fish hatchery. It was also seen that the benefit-cost ratio is also greater than one (1.73). Though further research scope and enhancement of technologies can strengthen the enterprise with more profitability.

Nano fertilizers are synthesized or modified form of traditional fertilizers, fertilizers bulk materials or extracted from different vegetative or reproductive parts of the plant by different chemical, physical, mechanical or biological methods with the help of nanotechnology used to improve soil fertility, productivity and quality of agricultural produces [2]. Every institutional, financial and industrial sectors were running out of track. In this particular situation a survey was carried out in West Bengal, India regarding the shifting of small business holder in the other professions and how that has impacted on the economic conditions in the grass root level. The result showed how the peoples were been saved taking the agriculture sector in account as their alternative profession. The scenario of agriculture sector especially fertilizer sector was also being studied and It was seen that during such a crisis period of time the agriculture sector took the responsibility to keep the economy on track.

Given limited land, water, and labor resources, it is estimated that the efficiency of agricultural productivity must increase by 25% to meet that goal while limiting the growing pressure that agriculture puts on the environment. Robotics and automation can play a significant role in society meeting 2050 agricultural production needs. This article majorly focuses on the application of robotics in agriculture, and how it can help farmers by reducing their workload and enhancing their income.

The new technology to increase the use efficiency of input is the need of the hour to meet the demand of the huge population. IFFCO has introduced Nano-Urea liquid based on Nano technological research in Nano Biotechnology Research Centre at Gujrat. The new product established itself to be very sound and can substantially decrease the dose of bulk Urea application up to 50%.Various research showed an increasing yield with lesser per area input cost which could enlighten the future of agriculture. After vigorous trial with ICAR, KVKs and SAU"s the Nano-Urea liquid is found very suitable and efficient and got included in FCO list. The agricultural research community cherishing the success for this remarkable innovation and hoping for a bright agriculture ahead with Nano-Urea.
