I took this season off to play. Any idea where the good leagues are? I'm putting together a team to at least in a A or B level pool.I'm not a big fan of places like Coal Harbour and Roundhouse. Courts are too small! Harry Jerome is cool, but the drive is far and the rubber mats are a killer for divers like me.If you guys could recommend some leagues to play in that are pretty competitive, drop me a line. Thanks.
[ **mood** | cheerful ] Hi everyone! I'm Helen! I started playing a year ago. It's not long ago but I absolutely LOVE IT!! It seems like everytime I play I feel like all the stress is lifted!!! I LOVE VOLLEYBALL!!!
more places to set up net:memorial park (fraser and 41st), QE Parklooks like more nets are up on weekdays because of the sunny weather.on another note: after playing the league at windermere, i think i'll stick to playing at harry jerome...
there are A LOT of anal (borderline cheating) players in this season's league. some even to a point where we have to start questioning their calls on us.
i just started playing volleyball last summer. i know a few netowners so i play at douglas park on sundays and sometimes at the park near joyce station and memorial park. i joined 2 leagues last season at harry jerome (monday and fridays) and this season, only harry jerome's monday late league...so if there are any fanatic vball players out there to share their stories or just looking for a game, drop a line here.
