clex=two extreeeeemly gorgeous men whose attraction to one another, well, it cannot be denied. seriously, if they are in the same room, it's all about the sex. passionate!angsty!hot!hot!sex. the eyefucks, the phallic symbols, the cars, the secrets, the damn drama... it doesn't get better than clark and lex...mmmmmm..... *gets lost in thought*

MANIFESTO: That Which is IMPORTANT about "Smallville"

1. "Smallville", the show, began as something with great potential that inspired a helluva lot of writers.

2. Clark is beautiful and shall someday become Superman.

3. Lex is sexy and shall someday ostensibly become Superman's arch-enemy. (It remains to be seen how this will happen, or if it will be more than an elaborate smokescreen.)

4. Within the first two and a half seasons of "Smallville", it was apparent to many that Clark and Lex loved each other very much, whether or not they acted on this.

5. The story of Clark and Lex, moving from great friendship and love to ultimate enmity and hate, is still worthwhile and must be told.

6. The show as broadcast (in season 4 and thereafter) is not telling the story correctly, and should be ignored.

7. Fanfic authors are taking the mantle upon themselves to fix what is wrong on "Smallville" the show, because they believe so strongly in "Smallville" the concept.

8. Tom Welling is indeed beautiful, and Michael Rosenbaum is sexy and talented. We will cross our fingers hoping that they and their careers come out of this fiasco undamaged, and that we will get to see them in other, better things for years to come. The other talented people behind "Smallville" will go on to do something better, because they certainly can't do any worse.

9. The hacks behind "Smallville" (two producers and one or two actresses) will ideally crash and burn, never to be heard from again, or at least their work will be well-known as properties to avoid.

10. The "Smallville" fandom will flourish in many forms, and the friends I have made in that fandom will continue to be VERY important to me. If they all fly off to fandoms that no longer include me, so be it. We will always have been linked by something much larger than all of us put together.
