Responsible Machine Learning (RML) is the use of ethically-sound governance mechanisms, policies, controls and practices that prevent some ML errors and adverse events caused by ML, detect mistakes and adverse events that nevertheless occur, and minimize stakeholder harm by correcting ML mistakes and adjusting relevant systems, processes, controls and policies. This paper takes stock of relevant findings relevant in prior ML lit reviews and recent scholarly and practitioner papers published in premier IS journals, and offers suggestions for a program of research on RML

Even though many organizations have staff dedicated to InfoSec incident response teams, there is a lack of consensus as to the skill set each team member needs to effectively perform his/her job, and general and specialized skills that need to be represented in incident response teams (but usually not all held by each team member). Previous guidance was offered based on non-empirical methods. In this study, we used the Repertory Grid (RepGrid) method to elicit lists of incident response skills from industry experts. Skill archetypes were then identified by clustering incident responders who share similar characteristics. The findings extend the Theory of Resource Complements and provide managers with practical guidance regarding the skill sets most critical to the incident response role.

Our multiple-cases study explored whether and how rhythmic course designs (multiple similar short-duration assignments and other design choices) support student learning in IS case courses. We provide evidence based on two sections (one blended traditional f2f with some online synchronous work, and one was delivered fully online, with synchronous and asynchronous elements) of a partially case-based undergraduate IS capstone course, taught by NewProf at a large state university, and two sections (one online asynchronous, one hybrid) of a fully case-based MBA Strategic IS Management course taught by OldProf at a small private university. The study findings provide initial support for our proposition and research questions, and yield helpful directions for further studies on benefits and challenges of rhythmic IS course designs.
