The mission of the Berea Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in our community by working in partnership with the community and in accordance with constitutional rights to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, reduce fear, and provide for a safe environment. The primary mission Berea Police Department personnel is to promote public safety with Integrity, Pride, Respect and Service.

Police Records: Mon-Thur 8am-4pm

Accident Reports
How can I obtain a report? What are the fees? Berea Police Department Records will provide reports during regular business hours and payment accepted is only Money Orders, Checks, or Cash. If the collision or incident happened within the last 7 days, Email, or call us to make sure the report is ready before you come by. Report Fees are as follows:
- Accident Reports $5.00 Per Report
- CD (Electronic Media) $10.00 per CD
- Open Records 0.10PerPage(0.10 Per Page (0.10PerPage(0.15 Double Sided)

Per KRS 189.635 – To obtain a copy of a vehicle accident report, you must be a party to the accident, the parent or guardian of a minor who is party to the accident, insurers of any party who is the subject of the report or an attorney of the parties.
