| | Saturday, August 1st, 2009 1:07 am emp_sis Hola!I go by the moniker "The Emperor's Sister", and I was wondering if someone would be interested, and have the time, to help me with my fic. I will warn you that where English is not my original language I have been speaking/reading/writing it for many years, but I do miss up now and then when it comes to grammar and spelling. Some times the characters just get away from me too. I have the complete story outline done, so i do know where it is going, and many back up copies too so i won't lose it. THAT has happened to me before. This fic is somewhat AU but I will be following the first season episodes, rewritten of course, and there is a possibility for sexual situations... though I am not 100% sure how graphic I will end up making them. I can send you the original chapters in WORD format if that is alright, along with the complete outline if you require it, at least so you'll know where I am going. I've had problems with BETAs in the past where they've given up on me, and while i do understand that real life can take over, I would at least appreciate a heads up. I haven't really been able to dedicate much of my time to it with all the real-world stress that has been piling up on my shoulders, not to mention the overall lack of motivation that's been flowing through my system. I'm sure the other mods are experiencing the same thing, which is why things have been slow for the most part. Hopefully, I'll be able to pump a pulse back into this place soon enough.I will say that the process will be a slow and painful one due to the amount of work I have and the fact that I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel concerning motivation and inspiration. It really is a damn shame, too. ._. However, I have not given up on my little experiment of mine considering there are still members that trickle in every now and then, and they are willing to post their stories.For those I did not get a chance to formally welcome: Glad to have you. <3For those of you who have stuck around since the beginning, it really means a lot to me whether you participate a lot or just sit there to make the membership list look bigger even though I would prefer the former. I've read a few older posts and I'm surprised at all the FMA fics! I don't know much about it, so I'll either help with all *other* categories, or get converted to the FullMetal fandom in the end. O_OI'm kinda desperate to fix at least two chapters of a SasuNaru fic that I've been working on. I can't tell if the first chapter is good but the next one sucks, or if the first chapter fails to inspire the reader to go onward. Either or neither, there's definitely a few tweakable spots. Firstly I want to comment/help, and read some of the post-beta fics (lol), but soon I want to ask for a beta's care. Someone Naruto-inclined who can tell me if I'm not writing visually enough. As chapters go on I tend to have dialogue with very little scenery/setting.
