| _11:48 pm_[neiseluv] | I e-mailed Darren through his myspace in hopes of finding an answer to the question of what the song was that was played at the beginning and end of each BSH show, and this was his reply:_It's actually two songs I edited together. The first is called "Into Heaven" (title happened by coincidence) by State of Grace. It's way out of print. The second part of the theme music is by a band called He Said but I can't remember the song title. if anyone still views this... I don't know if you all already know about this but I was feeling melancholy for Big Sonic Heaven and did a search for Darren to see if he was djing any where. He not only is djing but he is also hosting Big Sonic Heaven since February. Look Here! It looks like they might have broadcasting through the website. Podcasting? I'm not really sure what that means but anyways they have his playlist up on the site going back to February.Hopefully this info is exciting to someone besides me! I wanted to remind everybody that I took over hosting duties of Aural Bliss on Auralgasms Radio back in March and I think we've got a great show going on. If you didn't know, here's a reminder. STAR SAIL 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW!!!One last time, one last reminder I promise.Today beginning at 4pm will mark 5 complete years at WXOU. In all my previous posts I've neglected to thank them for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their on-air personalities so I'm doing that right now. Thanks guys!I will do my best to control my emotions. If I steer clear from ad-libbing I'll be ok. I have a theme show once the actual anniversary show starts at 5pm so I will not be taking requests. The studio line will still be open however. As every year passes I ask myself, "When will I finally say goodbye? When will I realize that it's not going to get any bigger than this? My listener base will never reach more than X amount of people." But how can I let go of the chance every week to do what I like doing so I stay. Big Sonic Heaven Fans don't fret! There is still a chance to hear all the great artists and tracks we remember from that memorable radio show. I've been posting my list in this community for quite some time and now I have my own community  starsail883. It's broadcasted on 88.3FM WXOU - yes real radio and also on the web so you guys have no excuses! The link is "http://www.wxou.org" Star Sail starts Fridays at 5PM. I'm reposting this from the Phonic Rapture site. If you haven't seen any prior posts here, Phonic Rapture is what came out of The Unofficial Big Sonic Heaven Website...There is a long winding road from where the site is now and where it should be. I have to face the fact that it can't be done on my own. So here is my plea for help.I'm looking for volunteers to help bring Phonic Rapture to its full potential. If you like the music PR supports, you're qualified. BRIGHT CHANNEL - SELF-PROPELLED   The new bright channel cd came out last night....and it is completely amazing...they are by far the best shoegazer band I've heard since my bloody valentine...Actually I think they are a lot better than my bloody valentine.They have three tracks from their new album and three tracks from their old album up on their website to download on mp3 at great quality (192)."Airborne" is my favourite track on the new album -- go download that.
