To say I'm outraged would be an understatement. Who is this new Dr? Really, anyone who can look at his back catalogue and say that it's quality and he's bringing experience to the role is full of shite and needs to pull their heads out of their arses.
I know who they should have picked and even after him the list is long, long enough that this person doesn't even have the qualifications to carry the list of names to RTD and co.
Maybe he was bending to pick up the list and that is what got him the gig.
For Fuck's sake, why....why?

Sitting on a water barrel, Will waited for his new crew member to wake. As he watched, the man struggled back to consciousness, a confused frown creasing his face.
“It weren’t a dream?” he asked, his voice hoarse with disuse.
“No.” Will answered quietly. Sitting patiently, he watched Bonden’s keen eyes scan his surroundings. Proud that his ship was found acceptable and anticipating more questions, Will was amazed when they were the only words spoken. Bonden’s quiet acceptance was almost unnerving.
When Barret turned his gaze back to his new captain, Will realized exactly what he was missing at sea…Green.

Aside from a brief moment where he had given his soul to the Dutchman, Barret Bonden had not woken in two days. The magical properties of the ship healed his body as he slept.
Every time he wasn’t required on deck, Will found himself drawn to the smaller man’s side. His ragged clothing had been cut away and he lay in the hammock, his modesty protected only by a piece of sheeting. Each visit Will knelt at his side and gently smoothed tangled hair from his warm forehead, his fingers lingering on the scar that marred Barret’s face every time.

Captain Will Turner strode across the deck, watching keenly as his men lifted a limp, probably lifeless body to the deck of his ship, the Flying Dutchman.
He cursed under his breath as his men carefully turned the lost soul onto his back. Drawing a small sigh of relief he watched the chest inflating with the shallow breaths of a man clinging bravely to life. The man's bedraggled clothing clung to the lean frame, while long sun-bleached hair hung in lank tangles around a handsome face burnt and swollen by the unrelenting sun.
Will knew this one was worth the fight.
