Effects of Digital Marketing (DM) and Innovation (Inn) on Marketing Performance (MP), mediated by... more Effects of Digital Marketing (DM) and Innovation (Inn) on Marketing Performance (MP), mediated by Competitive Advantage (CA) in the context of food and beverage micro businesses are not widely discussed and well understood. This study aims to describe Digital Marketing, Innovation, Competitive Advantage and Marketing Performance and examine the effects of Digital Marketing and Inn on Marketing Performance mediated by Competitive Advantage. The unit analysis is food and beverage micro business owners in Bekasi Municipality, West Java Province, Indonesia. The respondents are 100 owners of food and beverage micro businesses and the sampling technique is the simple random sampling. The data analysis uses the PLS technique. The results show that Digital Marketing and Inn had a positive effect on Competitive Advantage. Digital Marketing had also a positive direct effect on Marketing Performance. Competitive Advantage, however, did not mediate the Digital Marketing and Marketing Performance relationship. Competitive Advantage had less effect on Marketing Performance (<0.3). Innovation had no effect on Marketing Performance. For the operational implications, food and beverage micro business owners need to implement Digital Marketing to improve Marketing Performance. They also need to implement Digital Marketing and Innovation to improve Competitive Advantage. As a conclusion, business owners need to maintain communication with customers through internet-based media, make customers experience speed and efficiency in information access about the products, make products content popular and relevant to current trends, deliver the products as promised and update information about the products on the market places. Besides, business owners also need to make some changes in the way they do business in more efficient and productive way to meet the customers' needs and wants.

Based on this problem, this Community Service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge of the scavenger group who are members of the Tunas Mulia Foundation, in the Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Management Site, Bekasi. Activities are carried out through training and assistance in using sales applications through the marketplace platform. The purpose of this activity is to help increase the income of scavenger families by expanding the market through digital technology. The method used is the presentation of the material at the location of the Foundation. The material is given by the lecturer and then direct practice in making the platform is assisted by students as a companion to the participants. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektifitas pesan iklan televisi KPK versi 2012 ... more Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektifitas pesan iklan televisi KPK versi 2012 ditinjau dari dimensi perhatian, pemahaman, respon kognitif, respon afektif, dan sikap terhadap iklan. Kuesioner disitribusikan pada 341 responden dengan metode Simple Random Sampling. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dimensi perhatian bernilai 3.80. pema-haman bernilai 4.02, Respon Kognitif bernilai 4.24, Respon Afektif bernilai 3,87 dan Sikap terhadap iklan bernilai 4,66. Untuk mengukur efektifitas konten ikian, nilai skala pendapat setiap variabel dikonversikan ke tabel Direct Rating dengan hasil Perhatian bernilai 15.2, Pemahaman 16.08, Kognitif 16.98, Afektif 15.48 dan Perilaku 18.64. The training which was held for 8 (eight) hours was attended by 20 marketing managers and owners of the rattan processing industries who were members of the Cirebon Regency Association of Indonesian Industry and Crafts Association. It is hoped that through this training the participants would be able to improve the performance of export marketing of rattan-based products to foreign countries through their competitive advantages. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 108 samples out of 148 rattan processing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in nine provinces in Indonesia. The respondents were marketing managers or owners of SMEs with at least two years of experience. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), which was processed by using Lisrel 8.7, was employed. The results indicate that market orientation, export marketing strategy, and export marketing capability are well implemented in the business operation of SMEs. However, the export marketing performance needs to be improved. Abstract: This qualitative research studies Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that produce and export rattan products in West Java Province, Indonesia. The aim of the study is to create a model that formulates a training program and implementation of strategic marketing for marketing managers of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Data are collected by doing a library research, a preliminary research and Focused Group Discussion (FGD). The library and preliminary researches are conducted to find out the SMEs' profile and their buyers' profile and formulate questioners on strategic marketing implementation measurements. FGD is conducted to gather data of problems and possible solutions. As Soft System Methodology (SSM) is applied in this research the descriptive analysis on the questioner responses are referred to draw a rich picture, one of 7 (seven) steps in SSM. Besides, rich picture is also drawn based on the result of FGD attended by 17 participants who have managed SMEs more than 2 years. By referring to the problems depicted in rich picture a conceptual model on strategic marketing training and implementation is formulated as the finding of the research.

Based on this problem, this Community Service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge of the scavenger group who are members of the Tunas Mulia Foundation, in the Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Management Site, Bekasi. Activities are carried out through training and assistance in using sales applications through the marketplace platform. The purpose of this activity is to help increase the income of scavenger families by expanding the market through digital technology. The method used is the presentation of the material at the location of the Foundation. The material is given by the lecturer and then direct practice in making the platform is assisted by students as a companion to the participants. Kuesioner disitribusikan pada 341 responden dengan metode Simple Random Sampling. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dimensi perhatian bernilai 3.80. pema-haman bernilai 4.02, Respon Kognitif bernilai 4.24, Respon Afektif bernilai 3,87 dan Sikap terhadap iklan bernilai 4,66. Untuk mengukur efektifitas konten ikian, nilai skala pendapat setiap variabel dikonversikan ke tabel Direct Rating dengan hasil Perhatian bernilai 15.2, Pemahaman 16.08, Kognitif 16.98, Afektif 15.48 dan Perilaku 18.64. Data are collected by doing a library research, a preliminary research and Focused Group Discussion (FGD). The library and preliminary researches are conducted to find out the SMEs' profile and their buyers' profile and formulate questioners on strategic marketing implementation measurements. FGD is conducted to gather data of problems and possible solutions. As Soft System Methodology (SSM) is applied in this research the descriptive analysis on the questioner responses are referred to draw a rich picture, one of 7 (seven) steps in SSM. Besides, rich picture is also drawn based on the result of FGD attended by 17 participants who have managed SMEs more than 2 years. By referring to the problems depicted in rich picture a conceptual model on strategic marketing training and implementation is formulated as the finding of the research.

After understanding literatures on organizational learning, innovation, and business performance, the research then formulates a model of organizational learning, innovation and business performance and defines how those variables are associated. Hypotheses on organizational learning-business performance, innovation-business performance, and learning organization-innovation association are tested. Organizational learning is measured based on 4 (four) dimensions, namely: information acquisition, information distribution, information interpretation, and behavioral and cognitive changes. Innovation is measured based on 3 (three) dimensions, namely: product and service innovation, process innovation, and innovative culture. Business performance is measured based on financial and non-financial performance of the enterprises. Validity and reliability tests are conducted by using SPSS 21. Then, the association is tested through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) from a database of 109 SMEs in rattan product manufacturing in Cirebon Regency, West Java Province. The results show that the presence of organizational learning and innovation is associated to business performance of SMEs as stated in the proposed model.

As Soft System Methodology (SSM) is applied in this research the descriptive analysis on the questioner responses, interview answers and FGD are referred to draw a rich picture, one of 7 (seven) steps in SSM to depict SMEs’ problems. The aim of the study is to find out SMEs’ problems that inhibit SMEs’ export marketing performance and to explore possible solution of the problems. Data are collected by doing a research library, distributing questioners to 60 (sixty) SMEs’ managers, doing interview with 10 (ten) SMEs’ owners and conducting Focused Group Discussion (FGD) attended by 19 (nineteen) SMEs manager, owners, government official and academician. SMEs’ problems are high cost business operation, raw material scarcity, low strategic marketing implementation, human resource scarcity, less bankable and artificial rattan based product threats.
