Employing a systematic literature review method, this study examines theories and determinants of financial statements fraud. We find four prominent theories in relation to fraud in financial statements, namely, “Fraud Triangle Theory”, “Fraud Diamond Theory”, “Fraud Scale Theory”, and “Fraud Pentagon Theory”. Based on fraud diamond theory, there are three factors affect fraud which are Nature of industry, Total accrual and Capability. Based on fraud scale theory, there are three factors affect fraud which are Pressure, Opportunity and Personal integrity. Based on fraud pentagon theory, there are five factors affect fraud which are Competence, Arrogance, Pressure, Opportunity and Rationalization. We also document a common theme among four different theories, such as opportunity, incentive, pressure, integrity, competence and rationalization as factors influencing financial statements fraud).

The author applies the quantile hedonic regression model on a dataset of Bogor Hotels collected through a travel agent’s website. A total of 194 hotels were collected and used as data samples. Our findings suggest that locations near tourist attractions are a significant factor in explaining hotel room prices in the Bogor area, while in contrast, the city center location is not. In addition, we also find that hotel room size and stars-awarded have significant positive effects on room rates. The outcomes of this study advocate for the continuation of fine-tuning the existing pricing strategy adopted by hoteliers to optimize revenue.

The primary objective is to empirically examine the relationship between the occurrence of the pandemic, volatility, and trading volume. The authors employ GARCH modeling to analyze the two measurements, incorporating the Covid-19 variable as an external regressor. Data samples from two distinct sector indices of the Energy and Technology sectors in the Indonesian Stock Exchange are utilized, encompassing the periods before and after the initial Covid-19 case in Indonesia.

A stochastic frontier production has been employed to decompose the sources of TFP Growth into technical progress, changes in technical efficiency change and scale economies effect. The analysis takes into consideration the impact of the liberalisation policies and the economic crisis in 1997 as the data is broken down into three subperiods. In addition, the results are also compared to previous estimations for robustness check.

The more realistic representation would be in terms of some constant rate of shrinkage of the remaining pool of poverty, which of course will produce the non-linear and 'asymptotic' closure on poverty goals that we have seen actually occurs in practice.

The Credit Guarantee Scheme (CGS) is a popular program for guaranteeing bank lending to MSMEs by the government. The objective of this research is to evaluate and compare the performance of the CGS in rural and urban areas of Indonesia. The data used in this research are from the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) 2007 and 2014. We looked at the role of microfinance as a bridge for MSMEs to access credit, however our results show that this role does not function optimally for MSMEs that have no credit guarantee. MSMEs that do not have a credit guarantee do not have much opportunity to access credit from formal microfinance institutions. In addition, MSMEs in rural areas have significantly fewer opportunities to gain access to credit from formal institutions than MSMEs in urban areas.
