Yeah, so I'm stuck here this weekend working on papers and studying for midterms for this coming week, but that didn't mean I wasn't going to get out and spend some money yesterday! I went shopping at Old Navy because I wanted to invest in some cheap, new clothes. That's the beauty of shopping for summer - most places sell summer clothes cheap. One such place is Old Navy, and boy did I hit the jackpot. I really feel like I racked up well for the amount of money spent! This is what I got:

- purple polo shirt - on sale for $10
- two fitted t-shirts - one white, one yellow - on sale 2 for $18 (9 bucks a piece!)
- 2 pairs of capri pants - one red, one blue - on sale for $12.50 each
- red wool sweater left over from winter - on clearance for $7
- 2 pairs of flip flops - one black, one green - on sale $7.50 each

Go me! Way to bargan shop!

Then I went to Bed Bath & Beyond and bought the best thing EVER! It's a feather down mattress pad that is sooooo soft. I got it for $40, and it makes my dorm room mattress feel miraculous. I didn't want to get out of bed this morning, I felt so good! Needless to say, if you sleep on a cheap mattress, buy one of these babies. Your mattress will never feel better. Plus, it makes my bed look so puffy! Hee hee! I really wrestled whether or not to buy it since it was priced at the most I would have paid for it, but let's just say it beats out my cheap egg crate cushion I had originally put on my bed a million to one! I just keep thinking that when I graduate this summer and move into an apartment, I can buy a cheap mattress and use this thing. So, I'm happy with my purchase!

I'm just playing around for now. After lunch it's back to work! I need to get this stuff done for this week... here's what my week is looking like:

Mon - nothing (shooo..)
Tue - Media Law paper due, HDTV paper due, direct school's newscast (YIKES!)
Wed - Photojournalism midterm
Thur - Video Engineering midterm
Fri - video package due, graphics proposal due

I'm scheduled to have a media law test on Thursday, but we haven't covered all the material yet, and I doubt we will finish on Tues, so I'm not too worried about that.

BUT - this is my last real semester. I can do it! Then I graduate and move on to the real world outside of this tiny college town bubble! I will move near stores and movie theaters!
