Overview

Bioeconomy value chains are vital nature-based solutions for achieving carbon neutrality and building resilient economies. Bamboo, a key natural resource, can be harnessed to boost bioeconomy solutions and drive sustainable supply chains that combat climate change and plastic pollution.

This session will spotlight the latest innovations in global bamboo value chains, aiming to boost their role in the bio-based economy. We'll explore how bamboo can spur green growth, create jobs, ensure sustainable production and consumption, improve life on land, and deliver diverse ecosystem services.
