Following on from our successful meeting in 2023, we are delighted to announce a second iteration of our Imaging Cell Dynamics meeting to be held in 2026. This meeting will provide a unique opportunity to bring together experts working at the interface between cell biology and imaging, with a focus on researchers who use advanced light and electron microscopy approaches, and novel image analysis tools.
Topics that will be covered include:
- Super resolution imaging
- Correlative light and electron microscopy
- Cryo-electron tomography
- Expansion microscopy
- Organelle dynamics
- Membrane trafficking
- Cytoskeletal dynamics
- Cell and tissue dynamics
- Image analysis
The meeting will feature talks from an outstanding set of invited speakers with opportunities for short talks and poster presentations.
We are delighted to showcase the rapid and exciting progress in this field, and to nurture this growing community.

Registration
The final deadline for applications is 27 March 2026 or earlier if the meeting reaches capacity before then.
The meeting will start with registration and lunch on Monday 11 May and will finish with a lunch on Thursday 14 May.
The fees will include;
- Registration and meeting cost
- Three nights’ accommodation (Monday to Thursday) in an en-suite room with single occupancy
- All meals (Monday lunch to Thursday lunch inclusive), coffee breaks and reception drinks each evening throughout the meeting
- Shuttle buses to and from the Montanyà Hotel
It is expected that all attendees will stay for the duration of the meeting.

Montanyà Hotel
Montanyà Hotel is in central Catalonia less than an hour away from Barcelona and is 25 km away from the Montseny Natural Park, a biosphere reserve. Built in a traditional mountain style, using wood and natural stone, the Montanyà Hotel is 4-star with a range of leisure and spa facilities.
We will be running three shuttle buses to the venue on Monday 11 May as follows:
10:00 and 12:00 from Barcelona airport
11:00 from central Barcelona (Sants train station)
And the following on Thursday 14 May from the venue:
13:45 to Barcelona airport
13:45 to central Barcelona (Sants train station)
There will be no charge for these services but we will be asking people to sign up.
The journeys are all about an hour although traffic conditions may increase the journey time.
