A variety of preprocessing techniques are used to obtain reliable recognition because these manuscripts are complicated and have age-related deterioration. Using cutting-edge image processing techniques, manuscript photos are enhanced and preprocessed in the earliest stage to improve clarity. Then, in accordance with the distinctive arrangement of these historical artifacts, these photos are divided into three separate portions. After segmentation, these parts are converted to grayscale to create the ideal contrast needed for character detection. Noise canceling algorithms have been incorporated to prevent any distortions or degradations that may occur as a result of the age of the manuscripts or other environmental influences. In this modern world, automation plays a vital role. It creates influences in the medical field. ... more In this modern world, automation plays a vital role. It creates influences in the medical field. It reduces human work and provides more benefits for humans. Automation provides more accuracy than manual methods. The patient's health monitoring system is one of the automated systems to measure various health-related physical parameters of the patient. The medical field are growing by using IoT platforms. It helps to get information about the patient in a short period of time. The basic physical parameters to be measured are temperature, pressure, pulse rate, glucose level and oxygen level. Temperature is measured using the LM35 sensor (temperature sensor). A pressure sensor is used to monitor pressure (digital sphygmomanometer). Pulse rate is measured by a heartbeat sensor (LM358 OPAMP). Pulse oximetry is used to measure the oxygen content in haemoglobins. A glucometer is used to measure the blood glucose level. In this Node-MCU is used as a microcontroller. This Wi-Fi module helps us to send the measured physical parameters to the cloud and Google sheets. If there is any discrepancy in the measured value, an alert message (E-mail or SMS) will be sent to the doctor and to the patient's relative.

PH control for many process applications was developed and used in many industries particularly in pharmaceuticals, water treatment plant and chemical industries. Several researches are still going on in identifying the appropriate controller for pH process. The main aim of this work is to design the CDM based PI controller for the pH neutralization process which is considered as a highly nonlinear system. Here the CDM-PI controller is compared with the ZN PI controller and IMC – PI controller and the performance of the controllers are compared and analysed. The results obtained by various control algorithms are discussed.

In medical field also the diagnostic information are recorded digitally and transmitted. While transferring the information digitally, security and authenticity is the main aspect to be concentrated. Watermarking is the technology which ensures the authenticity and security of the medical images, information about patient and diagnostic details. In this paper, hybrid watermarking technique by the combination of Discrete Wavelet Transform and Singular Value Decomposition is implemented, because of its high security and efficiency as compared with other frequency domain watermarking. The images have been tested against attacks like salt and pepper noise, Gaussian noise, and filtering attack. Efficiency and performance of this hybrid technique are evaluated based on PSNR, SSIM and NC. From the simulation results, PSNR is above 37 dB, which ensures better imperceptibility and shows ...

While transmitting the data through internet, there may be a chance for unauthorized access and copyright authentication. Chaotic system is a mathematical model or analytical technique which provides security for the information that is transmitted. In this paper, along with chaotic system watermarking technologies like DWT and SVD are used to improve security. DWT can embed data in all frequencies as it decomposes data into four bands. SVD is a compression technique and that can be used in wide range of applications where the data may be organized in matrix representation. SVD is suitable for watermarking applications since some largest singular values are sufficient to embed instead of using all singular values. In watermark embedding process, two level Digital Wavelet Transform (DWT) is applied to original cover image. LH1 and LH2 sub band coefficients obtained after applying DWT is selected for watermarking. Both the sub bands are sub divided into 4x4 matrices and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is applied. Watermark in the form of image or text is converted into binary form and encrypted. Encrypted watermark bits are embedded by modifying the singular value (SV) matrix. Then inverse SVD and inverse DWT is applied to form the watermarked image and then image is encrypted for further security. In watermark extraction process, watermark is extracted from SV matrix by reversing the embedding process. Cover image is reconstructed after extraction without using original cover image. The proposed system is simulated and results are analyzed using various performance metrics. The experimental results shows that proposed system has better robustness and imperceptibility under various attacks such as noise, crop and compression attacks.
