BKMS-react is an integrated and non-redundant biochemical reaction database containing known enzyme-catalyzed and spontaneous reactions. Biochemical reactions collected from BRENDA, KEGG, MetaCyc and SABIO-RK were matched and integrated by aligning substrates and products.

empty field:

The reaction is stoichiometric balanced, also in cases where only a proton or water is missing.

incomplete:

The reaction is stoichiometric imbalanced. There are missing chemical elements at the educt or product site. Get more information in Missing Substrate or Missing Product columns.

n.a.:

Some reactant structures are not available. The stoichiometry check cannot be executed.

generic compounds:

Reaction with generic compounds, that is stoichiometric imbalanced or has missing reactant structures.
