So.... this community is kind of quiet.
But I thought maybe it would be a cool idea to make little headshots of all the characters and stuff. So far I've only got four, but I would like to do more! And I hope Hillary will do some as well! She has such fantastic characters!!

This is a post I made about a week or two ago, and it should prove to be pretty informative as far as basic premise.

Well. We've created cheap smackjeeves sites for them. It is easy and a pretty cool way to get feedback!

I'm going to get the first page of mine done tomorrow and I'll actually be posting here, so bookmarking these sites isn't entirely necessary.

This is kind of weird, actually using this community! ANYWAYS other things that will soon be done: character profiles and other weird things like that. Oh! and on my art community, toucanosaurus, I will be soon making a post in which I explain a lot of the dynamics of my characters in the comic and stuff. A lot of it from my comic's point of view, but also a whole lot of characters of Taylor's since they are practically inseperable.

So anyway, if you read through all that and still haven't left the community, ily!!! HUGSSSZZ

Oh, hay guys!

I'm just here to let you all know that Hillary and I are SLOWLY. slowly, extremely slowly working on things. Mostly we're just working on some profiles for you guys so that you can familiar yourselves with our characters.

I said that I would post some of my like. Early stage profile images. So if you're interested, click on the cut!

U-Um... yeah those are my first four profile images. They have a lot of work to be done on them obviously. They are really kind of hideous as they are. But enjoy!!

So like basically a lot of you are probably familiar with concepts such as fandom communities. This is sort of like that, only without the fandom.

The comics that are involved in blackcities are called Black Fashion and Curtainfall, written and drawn by Hillary (cupsmou) and Taylor (phantombones). While we both collaborate on a lot of aspects in the two stories, we have our concentrations in our respective ones. I work primarily in Curtainfall, and Taylor, on Black Fashion.

Both Black Fashion and Curtainfall are heavily intertwined with one another. By way of world, places, character relations and so on, they both draw from the other. Nearer the end, they even share the same plot skeleton.

However detailed this all sounds, it still has plenty more development to go, and a lot of it will end up here. From characters to plot to places, much of it will be posted and not all of it will be understood to those without free insight, but we hope it will be entertaining anyway.

For more premise details, I'll add them to the post pretty soon.
