To understand how power operates and how it shall be understood in examining the society who is b... more To understand how power operates and how it shall be understood in examining the society who is both the producer and consumer of inequalities and forms of domination, I aim, in this paper, to walk through the concept of power as a disposed social category and its genealogy to the state as discussed by Weber, Foucault and Bourdieu. The focus of my brief analysis would be the tactical mechanisms of power, regarding the space (or field) by pointing out the similarities between these scholars’ in their conceptualisation of such notions and their effect.
