This challenge is for the creation of a banner that is suitable for a signature line. Your task is to create a cross-movie theme, putting one or more of the characters from Bolt into the role of another movie. The rules are similar to those of the previous icon challenge.

Rules:
1. As always, no profanity or sexual innuendos.
2. No using these banners or cross-posting them on other communities until the challenge is over.
3. A quote from either Bolt or the cross-over needs to be included either in the banner, or below, and may be in any human language. Languages other than English need a translation below.
4. When posting the banners please include the url of the posted pic underneath it.
5. Only up to two banners may be posted by a user for this challenge.
6. Screencaps, scans from books/posters, as well as your own artwork is allowed!
7. Banners must be fresh, no posting old ones!
8. Only entries are acceptable posts. All questions must be emailed to me.
9. All banners are due by Friday, 30 January 2009.
10. Maximum size of banner is 400x150 pixels.

I made it a rule with myself (no one else has to follow this) that if I create a challenge, I'm not allowed to participate in it. I'd really like to actually do a challenge so if anyone comes up with an idea for an icon/banner/writing/etc challenge, please feel free to post your ideas here or simply email me!

Also... regarding an icon/banner challenge in thought, to go along with the lyrical themes, would anyone have an objection to a challenge where the lyrics are in a foreign language? I think this one would be left open to whatever translation that you want/can find.

"Bolt, the latest film from Walt Disney Feature Animation, has been scheduled for three home video releases on March 24th. A single-disc DVD ($29.99 SRP) will include the all-new short Super Rhino. A 2-Disc Deluxe Edition DVD ($32.99 SRP) adds deleted scenes; the featurettes "Creating the World of Bolt", "Act, Speak! The Voices of Bolt", and "A New Breed of Director: A Filmmaker's Journey"; stars Miley Cyrus and John Travolta singing "I Thought I Lost You" in the studio; and a digital copy. Finally, for $39.99 SRP, you get the Blu-ray (with the exclusive Bolt's Be-Awesome Mission Game), the DVD, and the digital copy."

BTW, for those wondering about the digital copy, it's a version you can put on your computer and your iPod or other video player. I have one for WALL-E and they're really handy. It's great to wanna watch a movie and just be able to pop it open at my desk without having to go gt the disc.
