Vegeburgers and Salsa (original) (raw)

Today I made vegeburgers (from a packet mix, cheat!) and salsa over Romaine lettuce with steamed asparagus.

For the salsa I finely chopped up a stem of wet garlic, 2 spring onions, 6 very ripe tomatoes, one red medium hot chilli (de-seeded first) and a handfull of fennel leaves. Mushed it up together as much as I could without destroying the texture and left it to mingle for an hour.
Spooned over the lettuce, plonked burgers and asparagus on top and served.
