The life and times of Lord Boyzici (original) (raw)
I caught a cab to my cousin's house this evening. On the way the cab driver pointed out two ordinary looking women and said 'I think they are lesbians. He went on to say lesbians where everywhere these days. I said it was a good thing and he said it made him feel uncomfortable. I asked him why he thought this - expecting a torrent of abuse but his answer was 'they leave me so frustrated'. So there he is getting himself all horny over girls he thinks are lesbians. I found it quite amusing.
Super was good - we had a Moroccan chicken dish. It was made with prunes and prunes are one of about three things I just cannot eat. I put a brave face on and fortunately nothing tasted of prune in the meal. As a young kid we used to be forced to eat everything on our plates at school and I used to dread the days we had prunes. I would retch and retch but would have to force them down me. Even now when I hold a sealed packet of prunes I feel uneasy.
The house was in Montpelier (slightly rough area) and I had to walk through St Pauls (very rough area where taxis fear to tread) on my way home. I was invited to a party in a squat and was actually tempted to go but I was dressed rather too smartly so I made my excuses. Now I am home I am rather pleased I did not go to a St Paul's Squat!
I had lunch with eric_tyson today. We were sitting next to my boss so I had to be careful what I said. It was good to catch up though.
Tomorrow Paco is coming over for lunch - I am going to Delia Smith him. I need to learn to cook something new for Monday night for film night so he can be my guinea pig.
Anyhow, my bed is calling me...
