I have just had an email from the National Lottery saying I have won £10. This is the third tenner of the month. Go me.
Deaf class went fine last night. I have some gaping holes that need filling and will spend some time revising areas I do not know. I want to move on to proper vocab because I think I will be better at this rather than missing with the who/what/why kind of words.
I heard from a fellah last night. He has spent around two years in Buigiri in Tanzania spread over the past decade and he has just returned from his most recent trip with photographs from David Kisamo of where the money the good people of LJ sent. It sounds like it has made a real difference. He is sending me the photos and I am seeing him at the end of the month. I'll get stuff on LJ when it arrives.
This evening is poker. I have dropped to 82nd in Bristol and need to pick that up with a good result.

Let it be known that on this day, the eve of All Saints Day, andyyyyyy has uploaded a wicked and fiendish music quiz to his
Deadjournal
Livejournal.
You must all enter, for that is the law.

This is a poker thread so feel free to ignore it.
I came second. Absolute wootness. A maximum of 32 players played which means I win mega points - roughly the equivalent of making the top 50% cut for an entire month. I did well to start off with cos a hot guy was playing at my table and he has a habit of staring at you whenever I play big. I played big and boy did he stare. Fortunately my perviness came through for me. I then made mega points from Jeff. I felt guilty but I played in such a way that I hoped he would fold, but he played with fuck all.
I took a big hand off the eventual winner. He started counting his chips and I knew he was bluffing, so I played him and won big. A while later it was just me and him on equal chips. We played a do or die hand. I had J and 10 of hearts and he had 9 and 5. He hit a 9 on the table and won, but its one of those hands where I had probably a 25% better chance of winning than he did so I have no complaints. It was a fantastic evening.
A friend of mine, Bryanboy, has been nominated for best gay blog. This is a big deal. I've voted for him and if you have a minute to spare then please go to the site and vote for him for all his categories.
