The profession of social work will be increasingly significant as changes in climate, the adaptio... more The profession of social work will be increasingly significant as changes in climate, the adaption to technological advances, and disparities in marginalized populations reach crisis levels in our country and the world. Our profession will be called upon to develop interdisciplinary solutions through collaborative efforts on a scale not previously experienced. What is the vision of where technology innovation can take online and blended social work education? This workshop will provide a structure for social work educators to innovate in social work curriculum and pedagogy to meet the trials seen and unseen in years ahead.

The bulk of research focuses on the efficacy of online or blended learning but not on social work educators’ self efficacy in delivering technology literacy. This study explored whether social work educators’ self efficacy is related to their using technology in curriculum and pedagogy.
