Life can rock, and every day we can live out our dreams.
Life can be shit, but it makes great storytelling.
Welcome to Brave Walk.
Every day we are making decisions great and small that have a tremendous impact on the rest of our lives.
This community is a storehouse for all the courageous choices we make daily, whether they were minor trials (stepping stones along the path to somewhere), or times we were faced with impossible odds.
Post about any topic. A love problem that was difficult to resolve. A compromise you had to make in order to do the right thing. A time when it felt like your world was caving in and you had to climb out of the wreckage. A time when a simple choice of outfits made your fortune turn around.
Post in any form. Journal-entry-like summaries, short stories, long stories, poetry, song lyrics you wrote, or responses to song lyrics others wrote. You don't even need to give details, but can discuss abstract ideas and feelings. Be as concrete as you like, as intellectual as you feel, be simple, or be incomprehensible. Be yourself, and tell your story the way you feel like.
Don't feel pressured to regale us with amazing, all-encompassing and deep anecdotes. The simple truth of how you feel in a simple interaction with another person can be just as provocative, just as engaging, and just as moving. We accept anything you have to say.
Every step we take forward is a part of the brave walk.
You need to be a member of the community to see the posts in your livejournal friend list, but you don't need to be one in order to post. Non-livejournal users can comment to any entry.
So tell us your story. Tell us all of your stories.
ONE RULE:
Do not hide any contents behind cut tags, no matter how long the post is. Entries behind cut tags will have an immediate response from the moderators requesting that the cut tags be removed. We want your stuff to shine on this page in all its glory! Don't tuck it away. Most often, people won't be lured to read it if it is, so you're better off letting it fill the space it needs.
